(Timeless Luxury in Tribeca)
by vynastphard
This shop is all about luxury. An elegant place with sensuous beddings and superior home decor.
The perfect hole to bring our clients and for finding that great gift.
- Pros: Outstanding Quality
- Cons: Pricey
Beautiful Store
by meowmmeow
It's like an explosion of the most exceptional bedding from around the world wrapped up in one little Tribeca store. The sales people are helpful and knowledgeable...unlike an department store or an ABC experience. They help coordinate your entire bedroom with one stop shopping...offering tons of options from luxury sheets to OMG this is "worth taking out a second mortgage" cashmere throws.
- Pros: savy service and decorating tips
- Cons: luxury goods aren't cheap but well worth it
Home chic home.

The Scene
A stately dark maple four-poster bed with a velvet headboard greets shoppers as they enter Stella, and it's the first hint that this home store goes well beyond the usual bed and bath routine. Owners Mischelle Arcus and Paul Geshlider used to sell their posh draperies to decorators only, but now they share the goodies (and not just window dressings) with Tribeca residents.
The Goods
Linen lovers will find bedding from an array of hard-to-find companies, including Dea, Nancy Koltes, Signoria di Firenze and Volga, plus a selection of superluxe towels. CC offers exquisite dressing gowns and pajamas good enough to entertain in. A sleigh bed against the wall is covered in embroidered pillows; several make a statement, but just one will surely add some zing to your sofa. Accessories--from steel VIPP trash cans to sweet packages of soaps tied with grosgrain--make Stella a perfect place to pop in for a gift.
