Howdy ya'll! just want to let y'all know we havent closed we just moved to a bigger and better location! We are now at 155 Grand St (betw bedford and berry) We are 4 doors down from bedford. Our hours are 12:30-8 mon-sat and 12:30-7 on sunday! 718.302.0006 Please come by and visit us!

Lawanna's is my favorite store in NYC. It is the only place I shop for all my cooly cool clothes. I have been shopping there for the past 6 years. They have the largest retail selection of Vans in the entire NYC. So if you ever need some hot kicks head on over and see the coolest store ever. Holla!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The girls that work there are nice, not snotty art-damaged hipsters. The clothes--for girls and boys--are hot, selection is great. It's one of the few places that don't sell generic skirts and sweaters or ratty cords in Bklyn/downtown NYC. The jewelry is supercool and cheap cheap cheap and the Vans bring the cutest boys in NYC into the store.
Pros: great staff, great selection, low prices
Cons: can't leave w/out, buying stuff!!!

since the moment i walked into lawanna's, i knew our whole neighborhood was in for the time of our lives. there is a GREAT staff, who makes all of their customers feel comfortable, and they are ALWAYS going that extra step to help, without being pushy (which is very rare in nyc). not only are they the most unique store in brooklyn, but the time and effort they put into the shop shows through. constantly up on the hottest trends from all over the country, researching fashion conventions, having the most recent info on all their merch, and also selling much gear for local artists. even being a small shop, they are the biggest part of their community.
Pros: most unique clothing, easiest location, cummunity involved

Great store with wide variety and not to metion always greeted with a sweet southern smile from our favorite southern belle from hell! Tiny store with the most to offer!

I can't! Ok, it's the tiniest shop in Bklyn but when a shop is jam packed full of goodies, it's like running riot in the coolest closet you've ever seen. Hey, it looks like my apartment, so I'm perfectly at home here. The staff are the funny, cool girls you were supposed to have for sisters and are unerring in letting you know when those pants are supposed to be tighter or the socks lower. Put it this way, I can find gifts for everyone in here, except maybe my parents. Then again, Mom might really like that BITCH necklace....
Pros: selection, staff, music
Cons: tinytinytiny, out of sizes sometime

I'm in love with the owner of this shop. She must be my long lost twin cuz she stocks the place with what she likes, and I happen to like EVERYTHING in there. And every time I pop in for a browse, I come away with ANOTHER pair of sneakers. Lawanna's is dangerous, but in the best kind of way. Long live Lawanna's!!
