BEWARE!

I wish I could give them zero stars! I have never written a review before, let alone a bad one. However, I took both my laptop and netbook to get fixed at LaptopMD. I was treated very rudely, what I asked to be fixed was not fixed when I went to pick it up, which I had to call about because they never called when they said they would. I took both my computers to www.PCandMacRepairs.c (wonderful customer service and prices) He found 4000 errors on my laptop! He said normally he would find 1500-2000 errors on a computer. He said I was lucky it even turned on!

They did more harm than good. BEWARE!

My issue was fixed in a timely matter. Price was affordable, good customer support, techs are knowledgeable, and honest. I recommend them as real professionals, pleasure to deal with.

Best Laptop Help Ever!

I'm very appreciative of LaptopMD for the outstanding service they provided. My laptop had multiple, troubling problems, preventing me from using it at all. The wonderful people at LaptopMD completely solved everything, and they did it quickly. And they were very kind and patient, allowing me to stay there for some time so that I could check over everything to make sure all my files were still there and safe. I am very grateful for LaptopMD, and I will highly recommend them to everyone I can.

Outstanding

This place is the only place in the entire city capable of replacing keys that have popped out of a laptop keyboard. Every other place I called acted confused, told me it was impossible, or suggested I replace the entire keyboard. These guys replaced my laptop keys on two separate occasions within minutes, for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend!

Outstanding service. phone estimate for cost and time to repair cracked iphone screen. Matt Ham, director of operations was extremely engaged and eager to help and did exactly what he promissed. Very upstanding, customer focused business. These guys are a real find.

Not all it's cracked up to be

I took my laptop here as I read all the good reviews about the fast service. I needed it in 4 days as I was leaving on a trip. They tell me no prob, they'll have it ready in about 2 days. I get a call 3 days later saying that they need to order the part and it will take over a week to get here and I also need to bring in a charger for them to test it. I'm like are you kidding me? How do you not have a charger for the laptop and how do you not tell me this before?

I go away on my trip, with no laptop, which was the whole reason I brought it to them in the first place so I could have it on my trip. When I come back they deliver me the laptop and this is when it really gets ugly. The right mouse button on the laptop was stuck in place and lopsided, as a result I could not press it. The reason I brought the laptop to them was to fix the power supply, so why was my mouse button out of place. I tell them about this and they tell me, oh no it must have been like that when you brought it to us. They then accuse me of making it up. Why would I make that up? Wouldn't I tell you about that when I first brought you the laptop so that you could fix that too?

After arguing with them for a few minutes and swearing that my laptop button was never broken before they take it in the back and fix the button, well not quite, it's still out of place but you can press it somewhat. They then tell me that I had some food stuck underneath the button. Food? I've never eaten near my laptop once as I use it for business. That was either a blatant lie or they must be eating while they're working on laptops. A few months later the power supply broke again on my laptop. My right mouse button which was perfect before I brought it to them is still lopsided. Never again with these jokers, never again!

Super Fast Repair II

These guys are AWESOME. My laptop crashed and other computer repair shops wanted to charge me $125 just to diagnose the problem. LaptopMD provided free diagnostic testing in 90 minutes then got my laptop working again an hour later . . . for $125. Amazing. There's no reason to go anywhere else ever again.

Super fast repair

My laptop was sounding like a jet engine, so I dropped it off at LaptopMD Tuesday night. They installed a new fan the next day, and I picked it up that evening. Very happy with the quick service, although the price seemed high.

Lightening Fast Quality Service

My iPhone suffered a spill and the screen had shattered. Have Applecare no worries right? WRONG! Apple wouldn’t cover the damage and wanted an astronomical amount of money just to replace the screen. (Same price as a phone?!) Thank goodness for Laptop MD . The knowledgeable staff is kind and courteous and had me fixed and on my way in 15 minutes. The service is excellent and I would recommend them to anyone with the same issue.

Find a Different Doctor...STAT!

Have you ever been to a doctor's appointment where you felt the doctor was not paying attention to you? More interested in your insurance card or credit card then you? Or looking for you to leave from the moment you walked in? If you've never experienced this and want to, Laptop MD is the place for you. Otherwise, stay away.

We called Laptop MD and explained a problem that we were having with out laptop (not accepting a charge when plugged in). We were politely told to bring the unit in for a free quote. Reasonable so far.

Once we arrived into their dishevled office we were met by one of their partners, Ross. We refreshed Ross on our phone conversation and he immediately directed us to the computer to fill out our contact information and authorize how much they could chage to fix the computer without additional explanation/information. What happened to the free quote?

Ross provided us the free quote of $175.00 to "take apart the computer and re-sodder the electric receiving port". Only problem, Ross never even looked at the computer prior to giving the quote -- the equivalent of ordering surgery before doing an X-Ray or physical exam. Unreal.

We brought it back to the store where we bought the laptop, tried a new AC plug and, shock-surprise, it powered right up.

My prescription for you: Seek alternative treatment.
