It cannot get any better than this. If you are looking for high quality and exceptional service, this is the place to stay. Our children could not stay away from the telescope in our room. Just imagine, being able to see the Statue of Liberty up close as your view. Since we stayed for Thanksgiving, we were able to enjoy the meal they were offering for the holiday . It was scrumptious. Their lounge, Rise, on the 14th floor serves great drinks with a breathtaking view.
Pros: Wonderful experience
Cons: Away from fine stores

Beautiful hotel...we stayed there after a party we had recently, as a special treat. Gorgeous and the service is impeccable

I've stayed at this hotel two or three times and I highly recommend it. The rooms are spacious. The bathrooms are excellent and have deep bathtubs. The bath products are top notch. The service is also wonderful. The last time I stayed, I had the flu, and having such excellent accommodations made me feel better. The staff kept bringing pots of hot water to my room at no charge, so I could make tea. The restaurant was nice, but not excellent. I found the steaks to be undercooked and the tuna too spicy. However, overall, this was one of the best hotel stays I've ever had.
Pros: Luxury, Service

I love this hotel if it was closer to the action but some people might like that. Very friendly staff upgraded me from my already nice room to an even nicer one. Very large with great views and beautiful decor and bathroom. The health club was average, ok in a pinch since nothing is close. Room service is fine. The much-heralded Rise was a disappointment. Overrun by annoying yuppies who demand the best views with their nasally voices so they can nurse their one drink for hours.
Pros: Very nice rooms, Excellent staff, great views
Cons: out of the way locale, Rise ruined by yuppie

This is definitely one of the world's great hotels! First class service. The staff is courteous and takes care of your every need promptly and happily. An excellent hotel. Walking distance from Wall Street, Ellis Island/Statue of Liberty Pier. The rooms are wonderful, lovely and CLEAN! The telescope allowed us to view the Statue of Liberty up close, New York Harbor, New Jersey skyline and Battery Park. Unbelievable/Breathtaking View!(Superb direct view of Statue of Liberty). Leaving this hotel is heartbreaking! Thanks Ritz-Carlton Battery Park!
Pros: View, Clean, Romantic

Outstanding hotel...I live in Manhattan...and went to the Ritz for a "spa weekend". It was an incredible value given the staff, the location and the amenitites. I loved it and plan to visit on a regular basis. I felt as though I truly got away from the City...yet I was only 15 minutes from home. Thank you Ritz Battery Park!

I was seriously dissatisfied. FANTASTIC harbor views, but this property is too geographically inconvenient for the typical New York visitor. The Club Lounge was highly deficient. No afternoon Tea/snack presentation, and lunchtime presentation food is not set out - a staff member has to bring out food to you. I could not find a staff member to assist. There was only bottled water set out for beverage service. Overall I found the staff rather welcoming. I was shooed off the 14th floor terrace (the entry doors were NOT locked) . The worst was a surly security officer who came to my door at night, ORDERING me to turn down my radio (I was playing soft music to listen to in the bath) and treated like some unruly Spring Break teenager. Pardon me for thinking the room would be better insulated against noise! This was the poorest Ritz Carlton stay ever!
