You'll be walking on air after a visit to these parlors, specifically intended to coddle the weary traveler.

The Scene
Why do hard time with screaming babies and droning CNN when you could be receiving a hot stone massage or a seaweed facial just down the concourse? Determined to relieve some of the stress of airline travel, this pair of white, orange and chrome spa spaces--one beyond security, one beforehand--is designed to be as relaxing to harried travelers as possible. Happily, it succeeds.

The Services
You won't break the bank for one of d_parture's top-notch treatments, which run the gamut from the usual hair, nail and waxing services to site-specific specialties like "The Weary Traveler" (pedicure, paraffin treatment, oral spray and napping privileges). All the offerings are crafted to counteract the agonies of air travel, which means detox options like sinus facials, scalp massages and jet lag-combatting oxygen therapy. Note that full-body treatments are only done at the Terminal B location, where there's a private room; Terminal C has shoji-screen dividers and chair massages.

The Details

Massage, facials, hair removal, manicure/pedicure, full-service salon.
