Yummy
by jenniferw99
Their food is good, the prices are pretty decent. The Big Mack Daddy is good and seems healthy!
In the past few months they've gotten better at not being rude, and actually answering the phone, so now I go there more. They must have gotten rid of those stupid hipsters!
- Pros: Tasty, easy, options
- Cons: Sometimes rude but not recently
What happened to Tiny's
by nyles
I've been living on the LES for 9 years, and have always loved Tiny's. Decent sandwiches and salads, cheap and convenient. In a neighborhood full of jam packed restaurants, Tiny's was the quick, painless and satisfying antidote. But I think little Tiny has gotten too big for its own britches. I agree with some of the other reviewers...business ethic/service has sort of slipped recently. Since they moved, nobody ever answers the phone--they used to be to the go-to delivery place in the hood...not any more. Wish we could have the old Tiny's back! Perhaps it's just a sign of the times in the LES.
Tiny's Giant Disaster
by sansanese
Tiny's is about the laziest business on the planet. It's a miracle they're still open considering the fact that they're a sandwich shop that is consistently out of bread. Their hours of operation are never what they say. They stop answering the phone when it gets within an hour or two of closing so they dont have to do any last minute deliveries. It's basically the worst sandwich shop ever, but I will admit some of their sandwiches are good--none are great. The guy must be rich, because he clearly doesn't care about his business.
- Pros: Quick and Convenient
- Cons: Everything else
Need to answer their phone
by b1fin
Food is good but customer service makes it worth looking somewhere else. They can't decide where they deliver to and if they are open or not.
- Pros: when they are open
- Cons: their phone
poor delivery service
by apmc
while the food is good, customer service is lacking. they have decided not to deliver to Avenue D more specifically my building because according to what the delivery person said to the manager: "someone they know works for san loco who knows someone who knows all the delivery people in the area and was held for two hours and blindfolded, bike stolen and robbed of cash". this all happened in my building. I have lived in the east village on avenue d since 2001 and there has never been a robbery in my building, no one has ever been held hostage. in addition when I was called back and informed my delivery was being cancelled the manager on duty said that since it was only a 10 dollar order it was ok to cancel it. it was 730pm and the sun was still out.. don't they know people on ave. d don't get their guns out until after the sun sets
A staple of my delivery-food repertoire

Very tasty sandwiches. A bit pricey, but fairly prompt delivery unless they warn you otherwise. I recommend the Tiny's Tuna.
- Pros: Great sandwiches
- Cons: Delivery occasionally takes a while
The Perfect Lunch
by robota
Tiny's is great. They have a terrific selection of sandwiches and if have any requests of your own there's a
make your own sandwich section of the menu. I especially like their own mayo concoctions, like the
roasted red pepper mayo. Everyday there are creative special sandwiches as well.
Since they moved two doors down from their original space they now have plenty of seating as well
so whether it's eat in or take out tiny is a great place for a casual bit to eat.
- Pros: great sandwich variety
i created a citysearch account just to report how rude the service is here!
by lesfoodie4
I ordered a tuna melt for delivery and although i was asked to choose a size, i wasn't asked about the type of bread. I called back 2 minutes later (at most) and was told it would be white bread and that they already started to make it and could not change it. I then asked if I could cancel my order and was rudely told that "this time" they would give me whole grain but next time i "should really tell them what I want." I kindly suggested that "next time" they should offer the bread options in addition to the size. I was then told "it's on the menu" (which i had ironically already stated that i didn't have one and when i asked to have a copy included in my delivery i was told to print one out myself from menus-dot-com).
this was all over a piece of white bread on a sandwich that was still being made. i've eaten here for years but now i'm going to make sure the neighbors know to avoid them.
- Cons: rude waitstaff that will stick you with something you didn't order- and then blame you.
OK food but rude and pretentious waitstaff
by tara529
I live in the neighborhood and have ordered and gone to Tiny's a handful of times. The food is either really good or just average. My biggest complaint though is the waitstaff! In a nutshell, they are the epitome of what is wrong with the LES... They are very rude and incredibly pretentious. The food is ok but the waitstaff and service make Tiny's a poor choice considering how many other places there are to choose from.
- Pros: Sandwhiches, delivery
- Cons: waitstaff, pretentious vibe
Great sandwiches, when they aren't out of bread
by ts_style
Living in the neighborhood, I'm a big fan of Tiny's - BUT - they are always out of some ingredient!
There have been more than a handful of times where I've ordered a sandwich and I'm told that all they have left is white bread. How can sandwich show be out of bread?? So instead I'll order a salad.... Sorry! No lettuce left! Extremely frustrating and a good way to lose customers.
Plus the chicks that work there are all obnoxious and rude.
