City Diner and Manhattan Diner

Same looking same owner diner...After I left City Diner...I had an argument with the manager there bcs of the kitchen stuff was yelling everyone. I wasn't able to eat in peace...I give some more stars to Manhattan diner...Much more better attitude and food...better than worst diner in town..

One of the better diners out there

I've been here a few times now, and the food has always been very good, and I think it has even more choices than most diners do. I especially like their salad and sandwich selections. The servers are always polite, and I've even noticed them chatting and joking around with certain customers who I assume are regulars. While the place itself can be a little cramped, it's cooler looking than most diners, and it's in a really nice neighborhood and fairly easy to get to. I definitely recommend it.

Best Pancakes Period..

I love this place for breakfast. They have the best pancakes ever. The food is relatively priced and you can normally find me there on Saturday mornings. I have tried many other breakfast dishes and have yet to be dissapointed. Great food and atmosphere!

Flap Jacks and Coffee, Soups and Dip have me Dancing in my Seat!

Well, if I went out to eat at any other diner I'd have to be crazy. Because when I go in here after a long night of boozing or losing I feel like I win at life. Seriously, damned if all diners are the same. I love the eggs and flap jack meals. What I'll do is stack the Jacks and add the eggs to the middle - like a sandwich and I'll eat it as fast as I can. Makes me feel so good. Sometimes - as i said in the title - ill do a lil jig in my chair. The waitress mikael might look at me weird, but hey, ive been going long enough that they no my story. I love this diner! Smart and sophisticated, yet unmistakably social. i met my ex wife and my ex boyfriend here. Dance in your seat, eat eggs, jive with the joe and come to Manhattan diner for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Amazing breakfast deals!

Are you looking for a great breakfast spot? Well look no more. I went here after reading the selection and went with the number 6, three Pancakes with Ham, Bacon, and Sausage. I walked out stuffed and satisfied. This place is a gem. Do yourself a favor and go here!

Wonderful Surprise!

What a treat to find this place! It's open 24 hours, the food was as good as one would get at a fine dining restaurant, with very reasonable prices. The service was excellent, and the ambience fabulous for what looked outwardly as an ordinary diner. Highly recommended!

Great breakfast joint!

If you're looking for a not-so-expensive breakfast in the Upper West Side, give this place a try. The prices are good, and the food is yummy. I got a whole-wheat Belgian waffle with yogurt and berries that was quite good. It was pretty packed on Sunday morning, so the service was a little slow (though we were seated right away). Don't expect to go for a quickie. (Also is 24 hours)

The portions were good, price is really good for a diner in manhattan =)

Must try their buffalo wings....even though the pieces aren't big or big in portion, I jsut have to recommend it ..hehee
