An artist-a master at the craft of styling and wigs

I went to consult with DOV about 2 years ago. I presented with thinning hair and an unusual color of platinum blonde/white. The unique hair color presented challenges in consturcing/customizing a wig (topper). DOV not only came through with the wig but has maintained it in excellent condition and made a replacement when hair was lost. DOV works to please and satisfy coustmers and is not staisfied himself until the costomer is satisfied. He responds immediately when asked for assistance. He combines a professional demeanor with a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the salon. When you are in the salon you feel special as total attention is given to your hair care and styling concerns. Whatever your hair care needs, give DOV a call and your problems will be solved!!

Blonde Again

I went to Dov a few weeks ago because I have been losing hair for over a year and thought it was time to consider a topper. Dov was so wonderful to deal with. He talked with me and told me that it was not yet time for a topper and that my hair had good coverage. We decided I would wait but he did show me a topper and how it would look so I know I have options if the problem continues. We did decide on highlights and what a difference in my appearance. I've had highlights in the past but the color and the way it blends with my natural color is amazing! Thanks Dov for making me feel comfortable with my hair again! I still worry when I see strands fall but I now know I have options. I am so glad I made this trip into NYC and I can't wait to go back to Dov!

Great Haircut!

Totally worth it. He'll give you a really great cut and color! I have spent so much time and money going to others and now I won't stray--he's fantastic. If you're hair is thinning he'll give you a cut that makes it look thicker. I think I have finally found the haircutter for me.

Great Stylist

I went to Dov expecting to purchase a topper to cover my thinning hair. Instead he styled my hair so that the loss is not noticeable. The cut is fantastic as is the new color. I cannot recommend him more highly.

Excellent Hairpiece!

Highly recommend Dov! He is amazing at what he does, and a very friendly person, too. You will be in good hands. See him as soon as you know you are losing hair. Even if your hair is still OK and the hairloss is not terribly obvious, I can tell you from experience it is *much* better to have a hairpiece on hand than it is to go around feeling self-conscious about your hair. Losing hair is hard enough, so try and make the transition as easy as possible. It increases your confidence so much! If you have never worn a top-piece before, it's best to go to New York to pick it up and get it cut in from Dov himself. He will teach you how to use it so you feel confident putting it on, and you will come out looking and feeling great :)

Why did I wait so long

I am a 58 year old woman with hereditary hair loss which has resulted in overall thinning of my hair and ever more noticeable bald spot on the crown of my head. I had been embarrassed and worried about my condition, but didn't know what I could do about it. My daughter's upcoming wedding prompted me to look for a solution, and I found Dov on Citysearch after he was recommended on several hair loss sites. He is a kind, understanding man who was able to fit me with a clipon "topper" hairpiece made of 100 per cent human hair which looks absolutely amazing and natural. He cut and styled it and I walked out the same day with my "new hair". The universal reaction from friends, family, and business associates was--wow, you look 10 years younger--did I get new glasses, lose weight--I no longer worry that the wind will blow and reveal a bald spot--its helped me feel better about my overall appearance. His salon is lovely and he creates a friendly, intimate environment where you feel right at home. I highly recommend him--he's made a huge difference and the hair topper is transformational!! If anyone has questions or needs encouragement--post and I will be happy to answer.

Dov is genius

Dov is a caring and kind man who does excellent work, an expert at his craft. He made me a "topper" to cover the top part of my head and sprase hairs along alone my head to cover up my hair loss from chemo. Everyone notices a "huge difference"

No matter why you are experiencing hair loss -whether it's genetic, a disease -it sucks. It's super scary and awful. I went through a year feeling super upset about it, as someone in her mid 20s, you feel you shouldn't have to deal with something that most people aren't dealing with. Then I read reviews of DOV and since I live in NYC, thought it couldn't hurt to go visit him. He custom made a piece for me. It took much longer than what was forecasted but it was totally worth it. No one, including some of my family members, think its fake and everyone compliments my hair. It's the shot of confidence I needed to feel good again, and Dov is one of the sweetest men alive. DONT WALK, RUN TO HIM. You won't be disappointed, I'm so thankful I took the advice of so many peoples reviews.
