NEVER AGAIN. EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK...
by JohnAndrewD
VERY RUDE, SLOW SERVICE,CONDESCENDING ATTITUDES.
Ordered a bunch of stuff, waited 35 minutes for edamame and miso soup. The rest of the meal was ok but total time from start to finish was 2 hours - def. not a quick meal.
I had to stand up and shout, as several servers ignored me. When they finally decided to come over, I asked for the check and some water. They were quick to run my card but STOOD THERE AND WATCHED ME SIGN THE BILL. I deliberately wrote zero tip because I intended to leave cash - even though the service sucked. The server immediately asked me to hand him the signed receipt and said, "UMM, I THINK YOU FORGOT TO GIVE US A TIP..."
I was shocked! Not only did he EXPECT a tip, he didn't even give me an opportunity to get cash out of my pocket or even get the boxes for my leftovers... I asked for the manager and his response was, "WELL, DID YOU LEAVE THE TIP ON THE TABLE THEN?"
A 2 hour dinner service for discount, mediocre sushi and a horror of a checkout experience.
TIP: if you eat here, be sure to leave the tip on the table BEFORE you order your food.
Happy Hours' treat!

Mon-Thu special $1 sushi are amazing offer, even there is a min. order, it's still very affordable! The service is so-so. But for the price we pay, it's still good choice for its value!
Sushi on a Bargain
by Athena Chang , Citysearch Contributor
Want to get decent sushi on a budget? May's Place is great when you don't want to spend too much to enjoy sushi. At least 70% off the items on their sushi menu is part of the 50% deal. So, you pretty much could have 3 rolls for less than $20.
Don't get me wrong; you won't get 5 star sushi but it is much better than some fake Chinese sushi places. They also have other Japanese dishes on the menu.
We got an order of the gyoza as well but it is over-fried. Sushi wise, it is pretty fresh and their rolls are great. Try the Dragon roll combo and their eel sushi.
- Pros: Inexpensive Sushi is possible
- Cons: Gyoza is overfried
Good sushi on a budget

May's is a good sushi restaurant especially when you're on a budget. Their sushi is fresh and their dollar menu is great! The food comes out fast, yet it's really hard to get your check!
- Pros: Good sushi on a budget
- Cons: slow at bringing the check
You get what you pay for.

This is by far the worst sushi establishment I have ever eaten at. The signs outside lure you in for 50% sashimi and sushi but what you really get is below average everything (tea, salad, sushi, sashimi, korean dishes, and service...).
My companion ordered the bulgogi, it tasted horrible and I ordered a sushi/sashimi combo. Bad Choice. The sashimi was too salty and the sushi rolls rice was rock hard (recycled?). Whenever I pass this establishment I always smile and see what patrons have been lured into this fly trap.
I'm not a picky eater but 50% HA, THEY SHOULD PAY YOU TO EAT AT THIS PLACE.
- Pros: Interior design of the restaurant is nice
- Cons: Everything other than the design of the restaurant
Very Dirty food
by Whatabum
I used to go there a lot since there was 50% off sushi. The last time I went there, it was horrible. They reuse leftovers from other peoples leftovers. Disgusting! My friend ordered the Salad and the top looked freshly coated with giant pieces of lettuce and sauce. However, some people mix the salad around to spread the sauce around, but not my friend. She eats it piece by piece only to find the bottom have came from a previous customer. The bottom had salad which was soaked in sauce and the lettuce wasn't green and crisp. I honestly, swear to god, the first time I looked at it, I told her "why did you play with your salad?" and she replied "It was like that on the bottom."
The same night, we found our Tuna sushi roll mixed with some kind of other fish, white color looking. This place is truly disgusting. They reuse leftover by customers so they can save themselves some money. Next time you don't finish it, ruin it. They will most likely reuse it.
they lie on their menu!! no star for this restaurant if it's an option

I ordered ramen from the menu but surprisingly, they served me INSTANT NOODLE! The waitress told me that many customers complained about it but the boss did nothing (like to add a warning on the menu or take it off from the menu). I asked the waitress to take it back since I didn't want to eat instant noodle but she refused to do so (otherwise she had to pay for the noodle from her own pocket). She sent another waitor to talk to us. This time the waitor even denied the fact that it was instant noodle and gave us an attitude!! In the end I paid more than $6 for this "ramen" which I can get for less than $1 from the supermarket. Never set my feet in this restaurant again since then.
- Pros: cheap sushi
- Cons: bad service, misleading menu
Pretty good!!

I went here with a group of about 10. The service was fine! Based on the other reviews, I wasn't expecting much. But the wait staff was friendly and did and ok job. The sushi was very surprising - great! Fresh, delicious, huge menu, and with 50% off all sushi, what a deal! I had soup, edemame, 2 rolls, a beer and a soda for $15. They got all the food orders right, brought them all out about the same time, and were pretty attentive. All around a great experience.
- Pros: good sushi! 50% off (great deal) service was good
- Cons: none really!
Food was good but service was bad!!
by dleung92
Sushi Park makes really good Sushi but their service was extremely bad. I think they don't have enough waiters or waitresses to serve the amount of people that come in. If your looking for great food but don't mind waiting to get a drink or to even get your check then you should try this place.
- Pros: Prices, taste, location, atmosphere
- Cons: Their service was bad!
Nice and tasty Japanese food
by nycklever
I have visited recently Sushi Park for lunch and dinner and I have been delighted by the taste and quality of its food.
In my humble opinion and particularly because I have visited Japan and South-East Asia several times I am a fan of the exquisiteness, resourcefulness and meticulous attention to details of this delectable and scrumptious worldwide popular cuisine. For instance, the Teriyaki (salmon and beef) are extremely flavorful and cooked in such rich tasty sauce that really invite you to savor them . Similarly, the Sukiyaki, Tempura and Tatsuta Age are simply mouth-watering dishes and so is the Sushi which is prepared in a very tender and delicate style. I normally go for the Bento Box and I order one or two appetizers including sushi salmon. That really satisfy my huge appetite.
I have to say that the environment is very inviting and scrupulously clean. Though, one thing I feel they need to improve is the service, which is very slow and sometimes no adjusted to the competitiveness of a growing and demanding business like the food service. Here the customer satisfaction will always prevail.
