EX good buffet place

The quality of the food here has slowly gone downhill. It used to be that lunch was pretty good and had a wide selection of dishes. But today, most of the foods taste bland and it barely justifies the high price they charge. I guess their food selection is kinda okay...definitely not great.

Dirty place

We were dinning at East Buffet at Main Street, Flushing Sunday 6/20/10. This place is dirty, floor was sticky, table clothe has hole in it. Food was not as good as used to be. After dinner the waiter came to us and ask us to leave as they were people waiting. One of the bus boy acting like gangster was so rude that he practicully yelling at us to leave. We were really humiliated by these people. My wife leave with tears in her eyes.

• Pros: cheap food
• Cons: Dirty and greasy floor. Rude waiter acting like gangsters

A SHARP chinaware SPLINTER in the ice cream cut my tongue!!!

I went to this HORRIBLE place with my wife, 2 daughters and the family of my sister in law on 01/16/10 afternoon. When I was eating the ice cream, I felt a horrible pain in my tongue. When I pull that SHARP "thing" off my mouth, it was a SHARP chinaware SPLINTER!!! My blood spilled on the table (see the pictures) and the waiters only offered me a glass of water. They did NOT offer to call an ambulance or doctor!!!

I was however glad that it did NOT happen to my children since they were eating the ice cream originating from the same machine!

The *BEST* of all things was they STILL gave us the check and EXPECTED us to pay!!! I was calling 911 and one chinese waitress (NO ENGLISH PLEASE...) came over and told us to pay!

I can't imagine how RUDE people in this place are!!! It reminds me immediately to all the poisonous toys, milk, candies and other products from that country!!!

I called 911 and two police officers came over and took a note of what has happened. Even though the police officers got the owner to move his ass out of his office to my table, he did NOT apologize at all, NEITHERr did his managers and waiters!!! I have also filed a complaint to the Department of Health! I'm gonna sue this restaurant!

Obviously they always forget that they are NOT doing business in their home country China and they think they can always HARM people in the U.S like they always to the people in China.

• Pros: NOTHING good about this DAMN HORRIBLE place!!!
• Cons: You DON'T want to get yourself and children hurt by them

The quality of this restaurant has decreased significantly over the past several months. It's also much cheaper than it used to be.. but you get what you pay for.... actually you get a lot less than what you pay for. Most of their food is not fresh, and the selection is very limited. Also if you decide to eat here... make sure you know where the restroom is... because chances are, you'll find yourself running there at least once (if you know what I mean). Do yourself a favor, and go to the Long Island one instead.

Okay everyone should stop exaggerating and saying its a horrible place and other gossips. I've been to many authentic places and trust me its not dirty or a horrible experience or place. The food is absolutely amazing, prices are descent especially for all you can eat lobster, seafood and much more!!!

So I would advise to go there yourself rather then being influence by the comments, the one located in flushing has a lot of space and room its not as narrow as the one in Long Island.

Good for regular dining, worst for the party

I used to come for dining and last time my friend decided for wedding party.

The party was worst, un-coordinated, very-rule manager (fat, short hair, wearing eyeglasses, cannot speak English well). The manager wrote the agreement in chinese, so no one can read it. Finaly on the day, they told us that we wanted red color for the table clothes and everything instead white color as we requested. The manager told us we can use the projector without extra charge, finaly we got extra charge for it because it is not on the agreement. Anyway, they changed all agreement.

The funny things, he requested to sign that if there is any body got toxicity, that is not belong to East Buffet. They force you to do it on the day when my friends got the party, so there is no choice not to sign it.

BECAREFUL if you want to make party in this place. Not recommended for the party.

Disgusting!!!!!

This place should be condemned. I took my dad here for Father's Day thinking it was a nice place because of all the wonderful reviews on another site. What a mistake. I don't know how this place passes inspection. The floor was filthy and sticky. It stunk like urine near the dessert table. I glanced into the kitchen and noticed the floor was very greasy with food particles all over it. Aside from all this, my daughter found a hair in her custard.

Should be closed due to health violations

I found things crawling around the cash register, god knows what might be crawling around the kitchen. The food quality is horrible, long lines(sushi line, peking duck line, grill line) people fighting for people, rude management. The night got worst and worst. They charge us extra for staying longer than 1.5 hours. I complaint to them and told them about the long wait on the lines. They didn't care. Just like the other consumer, I was told to pay and leave. DO NOT EAT AT THE THIS RESTAURANT.

WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

This has been my worst restaurant experience ever. During their "half price special" they got rid of all the good food and only left the nasty noodles and cheap frozen food. When I complaint they ignored me and told me to leave, pay and file a complaint. They only care about their money, no consumer service at all. I'm never coming back here again.
