ARE YOU LOOKING FOR GREAT FOOD, MUSIC AND SPORTS ALL IN ONE PLACE?

Then you have found it at Sports Plus. Since the last review posted in 2004, the Sports Bar has come a very long way with there dining menu and have also upgraded there TVs. All sporting events are now watched on multiple flat screen TVs throughout the space. The food is by far much better then most, if not all, restaurants in the neighborhood and even in the limited Spanish restaurants in Manhattan. I have been a patron since inception and it continues to get better as each year passes. The chef really outdoes himself and the prices are extremely moderate. Every time I have the pleasure of being there, the music, the food, the staff is always right on target. There is always a good time to be had at the Sports Bar - check it out for yourself and bring your appetite!!

The Comfort Zone

Sports Plus a/k/a the Comfort Zone is not really your typical neighborhood bar. Neighborhood bars don't usually charge at the door, but it's all good. Drinks are good. With a laid back atmosphere and good music, you get a mix of people (some locals, sometimes a cop hangout) who usually seem to know eachother. People who move away from the neighborhood, seem to return occasionally to hang at the Sports Bar. It can get pretty tight and there's a lot of flirting going on with an occasional bump and grind on the makeshift dancefloor. There's so much people watching that you forget it's a SportsBar!! There's a large screen for watching games and you can rent the place for a private party. Food is only good if you're starving and have the munchies.
