The guys at Manor are professional. Prices are reasonable. They showed up on time and worked straight through in a professional and workmanlike manner. If you have your stuff ready to go and prepared so that the moving company isn't caught off guard or surprised then you'll avoid any surprises when you get the bill. Definitely recommend.

Pros: Always get someone on the phone, they delivered what they promised

I used Manor Moving this past weekend to move my stuff within Brooklyn. I didn't have much to move nor was it super fancy expensive stuff, but they treated it like it was. All furniture was wrapped and treated with care and everything got to my new home in one piece. Besides being professional they were also very speedy, they probably set a record time. ha! The movers and management were all courteous. I would definitely recommend using Manor Moving, they were fantastic!

Manor moving was great for me. They were clear about all that needed to be done on my part and what they would do on theirs. I liked that the estimate, pricing and explanation and most importantly, the move was quickly done. I particulary liked how thorough Jon was. I would recommend MM - they eliminate the worry and stress of moving.

My girlfriend was moving into Brooklyn from the Upper West Side and we had to do it last min, we called Manor, spoke with Jon. He was easy to deal with, explained how the day would transpire, gave me a through estimate, and explained payment options, made it very easy for us. The guys showed up on time, Mario, the supervisor, was friendly and informative, and the crew were friendly and respectful. The did an outstanding job wrapping and caring for my g-friends items, no drama or surprises, which in the world of moving is a shock. The estimate was right on, cost were what Jon said I should expect, they were great with my building, no problems...next move it will be with Manor.....

Pros: easy to work with/rates

Cons: availability, they are busy....

From the very first contact with Manor, I was impressed by their helpfulness, honesty and great customer service. Patiently, they talked me through my move, about what I needed, what my concerns were and reassured me that it would go smoothly...and it did. The movers were extremely competent, quite efficient and did it all with good spirit. I knew that I could trust them with my things; while my belongings may not be super super valuable, they are mine - they arrived at my new place in the very exact condition that they were in before being moved. Thank you Manor, for everything!

My move into their storage (by them) in July 2006 was easy and painless!! Resonable price, too!!! I had my stuff moved out (by them) in August 2007...fit me in to their busy schedule and resolved an issue I had!! THEY ARE GREAT MOVERS!!!!!!!!! :)

I am a recent customer of Manor Moving and have nothing but great things to say about them. My sales rep was through and very informative, and the guys who showed up were on time, were polite, and did a great job. Moving is very difficult and can be crazy in NYC, these guys did a great job, the price was right and I would definitly reccommend them to everyone.

Pros: No nonsense honesty

Cons: they get busy, I should have booked the move earlier

My family had such a great experience moving with Manor Moving I had to share it! Not only was it pleasant spaking to the sales rep., who took us through till the day of the move and was very helpful. But also the move itself was a smooth one! The crew was so firendly and professional, it made the day a real joy. I can't begin to tell NY what a great company this is. It will be your loss if you choose anything but Manor Moving.

Manor moved our 5 room apartment + 2 storage spaces into a new 3 BR apartment. We moved from Brooklyn to Washington Heights (Manhattan). They boxed up and packaged any loose articles that we had not packed, and moved all our stuff in 1 day. They started at 9:30 and finished by 7:30 - so total of 10 hours for the entire job. They only charged 1 hour of travel time in addition to the 10 hours they worked. This was the 2nd time we used Manor - they were fast, but safe. They require EVERYTHING to be boxed - which we knew ahead of time - so we boxed 95% of our stuff before they arrived. We were once again very satisfied - 2 items were slightly damaged, but overall, everything else was in the same condition after the move as it was before the move. We had also recommended Manor to another family we know, and they were also satisfied with their work.

Pros: Good value, efficient and skilled crew
