I'll never use anyone else

I used Manor first in 2008, and was really impressed at how quick and efficient the movers were.

So when we moved again in 2009, of course we called Manor again, and again, the movers were superfast and just great. Altogether, they made moving as easy as it could possibly have been.

If I ever move again, we will definitely use Manor.

Great customer service and extremely efficient!

Zvi was really great at responding and handling my questions and requests. Albeit a bit on the late side at arriving, they were quite efficient and accomidating when my stuff needed to be stored rather than moved to my new place.

A dream move, in and out of storage!

If you have been dreading the prospect of moving into or out of storage, dread no more.

From the office staff to the gentlemen who will carry your load, MONOR is a stable dream on the move. They are honest, affordable, prompt, professional, understanding, flexible and simply fun and caring humans.

Having had to coordinate, from overseas, the ins and outs of moving a one-bedroom into their storage facilities (and moving back into a UHALL a year later), I can testify that the process could not have been easier or more trust-inspiring.

Throughout the year my stuff was safely and cleanly stored with them--and a gigantic safe of sorts their facility is in the Bronx--MANOR office staff would work with me over email, for example, to allow my fiance to access the unit, for my brother to add forgotten boxes, and to change my stolen credit-card information. Whether for a few months or a few years, MONOR should be your moving & storage choice in New York City.

Their moving staff, too, is incredibly efficient, timely, careful, responsible, and very very kind. They were in and out of my apartment in half an hour: we even had fun!

What else could I write to urge you not to dread moving & storing as such: choose MANOR, and enjoy the ride.

Great movers

Local move - Bronx to Brooklyn. I've only used movers one other time in NYC, and that was a nightmare. Yes, they moved things from Point A to Point B, but they broke a few of my roommate's things, and were quite rude the entire time.

I went with Manor after 2 recommendations, and I'm glad I did. The crew showed up about 5 minutes early. Overall, I was shocked at the efficiency. Man, they moved fast. My final bill was just a bit above the quote, but for reasons that are understandable - extra time for bad traffic between boroughs, and I paid for some packing materials (TV & lamp I forgot about!).

The crew was very nice and helpful, and not one complaint about how much stuff I had, or how some of the small boxes containing only books were a little heavy. Moving is a really big pain in the ass, but if I have to do it again, it'll be with Manor.

Moving in Manhattan

They were very helpful

We bought our cases beforehand and that helped with the timing of the moving, since we had made a lot of headway before Manor Moving arrived.

The moving crew was very professional and even in my building, they were praised for their efficiency.

Our 3 movers were very fast and efficient, and very friendly to work with. They took good care of our boxes!!

I'll definitely recommend!

Great Service

A friend recommended Manor Moving and I am happy I listened to their recommendation.

Zvi was great to deal with and very fhelpful when setting up my move. I scheduled my move less than two weeks before and he was very accomodating. On the day of the move the guys showed up on time and immediately jumped into action. They took great care in wrapping up my furniture and moved very quickly. The team of three gentlemen were so nice and hard working. I never write reviews but I felt I needed to share my experience because moving is so stressful.. but the guys at Manor made it easy and I can't thank them enough. And the best part... my move cost $100 less than what I was quoted... that was a great surprise!

I can't say enough....

Manor Moving did an unbelievable job moving my family from Long Island to Rockland County. Without seeing my home, the owner, Zvi gave me an estimate that was exact leaving no surprises at the end of the day. The crew was incredibly efficient and professional. They even had the patience to work with me on the placement of my furniture. Being a perfectionist, they moved the same pieces back and forth until I was satisfied. And they still smiled at me when they were ready to go! I highly recommend them.

Manor Moving: Excellent New York Movers

I am a Real Estate Sales Person and have cause to refer people to Moving Companies. I recently endeavored in a 1 of 2 part move myself and had the opportunity to test Manor Moving. The crew is excellent and fast. The company has a wrapping standard that precludes damage. Their pricing is competitive. The price quoted was close to the price paid. They were on time. The owner is the phone contact and extremely responsive, especially by email. I felt the high quality difference from an owner that is attempting excellence. Manor Moving has moved to the top of my list of recommended moving companies.

Happy to Support Smaller businesses like Manor

Manor moving did a very good job with a 2 part move for me. I have moved approximately 10 times in NYC and recognize the good from the bad. I saw an ex-colleague had posted a positive review on Facebook regarding Manor so I gave them a try.

The owner is very hands on and is extremely responsive via email...no matter when you email him- he always answers.(Zvi) We originally thought we would be moving out of our apt. in NYC and storing our things for one month. That turned out to be six months before part two of the move to our home outside the city took place. Zvi was able to schedule us within a weeks notice! In the interim, we realized we thought we had packed our passports. Zvi's team for a very small fee assisted us in accessing our things to see if the passports were packed. Turns out they weren't--but they went out of their way to help.

Part 2 of the move went well and was according to the estimate.

I was worried at first if the estimate was accurate. In my case it was, which was good since we were keeping track of expenses due to purchasing a house.

In any case if you have things you care about such as antiques or fine china--this moving company will definitely take the time to do it right, and will help you stay on budget.

I recommend them and would use them again if I had to move.

Highly Recommend Manor Moving

I used Manor Moving to move from E 95th St. to E 36th St at the end of June, and was extremely pleased with them. Leading up to the move, Omer was very helpful and reasonable in terms of setting up a fair contract. I was nervous to sign a contract that was by the hour, in fear that what was an estimated 3.5 hour job would easily balloon up to a much longer job. Omer understood my concerns and put a cap on the contract, which would have been 5 hours worth of work which I was pleasantly surprised with. On move day, the movers (Juan’s team) arrived for our 9am appointment more than half an hour early, but had no problem waiting to get started until 9am when I told them I didn't have access to my elevator until that time. They came and looked at what they would be moving, which was mostly furniture and a few suitcases, since I was able to move all of my other belongings on my own, told me what their plan was, and got right to work. They worked quickly and efficiently, and with the greatest of care, wrappin everything securely in blankets and carefully moving it on rollers. There were no addititonal fees for tape, blankets, etc., even when there should have been (for a few boxes they had to use, which they threw in for free). I asked if they could move a few additional items that were not in the original work order I had discussed with Omer, and they had no problem at all with this. Once we got to my new place (which even though I jumped in a cab right away to meet them there, they still beat me there!!), they quickly set everything up how I had asked them to, even moving a few things around when I changed my mind, and were finished in exactly the 3.5 hours that was quoted. They even helped bring an unwanted mattress from my old place to my parents' family van in a parking lot near the new place for them to bring out of the city to dispose of, all without additional charge. This is even after Omer had quoted me that it would be $85 to dispose of the mattress for the dumpster fee and the additional time of the men (which I know is not a rip off, since if I were to throw it in the dumpster in my current building on my own it would be $60 - how ridiculous is it to live in NYC that you're charged for your garbage??).

I couldn't believe how seemless and pleasant the move was with Manor Moving and Juan’s team. They had personality which made the move pleasant and a little less nerve racking and always exhibited the highest level of professionalism. I will be using them for any future moves I have, and recommend them to anyone that is looking. Ask for Juan’s team (Juan, Kevin, and one other gentleman who sat in the truck to avoid tickets and watch over everything), they were great!!
