I normally go for places that have new and interesting food, but Fetch is one of the few places I keep going back to for the basics. The meatloaf is fantastic and the burgers are perfect, especially the burger bowl (burger and an egg over rice and smothered in gravy anyone?) The salads all taste very good, especially the Adam's Apple salad and the Asian steak salad. I don't recommend the philly cheese steak rolls unless you follow the Cheez Whiz school of cheese steak perfection (I prefer real cheese in mine). The calamari is grilled instead of fried, making it simply delicious. The only complaint I have is that I enjoy a bourbon and Coke with my dinner and the Coke in this place is always very flat. The people who work in this place are real nice and very friendly, especially the big, scary-looking, biker-type host (he might be the owner?) As a plus, you can dine with your dogs in the sidewalk eating area. The ambiance inside is pretty standard, more cozy than a diner and comfortable to hang around in. Pictures of dogs adorn all of the walls and I think they run some kind of adoption program there as well. In short, Fetch is a restaurant with a heart that offers good food at a decent price and probably something on the menu for almost anyone.

Pros: Tasty, simple dishes, friendly staff, dog friendly outside

Cons: Flat soda

I'm almost afraid to rate this because I don't want Fetch to get too popular but I feel like I need to tell everyone how wonderful it is. The staff is always very friendly and the food can't be beat. Stick with the salads, burgers, sandwiches or steaks. I've been disappointed with some of the "homestyle" main dishes. My favorite beer is the Six Point Sweet Action. Fetch is the best!

Pros: Awesome beer, food and service

Cons: Some of the tables are in the middle of the main walkway

Really simple and good brunch. Strawberry butter is amazing. Price range is typical for UES.

Pros: Strawberry Butter

Cons: Price slightly high

My new favorite place to eat. The food is great (and so is the wine!), the service is wonderful-friendly and polite-and the atmosphere is just wonderful. I am taking all my friends there now! Try the 'Duke's Goodnight' cocktail-it's incredible.

Pros: delicious food and drinks, nice waitresses, cute pictures of dogs everywhere

Cons: none!

I used to live in the city right by fetch... and I have to say I loved it as my neighborhood bar and it had one of the best burgers ever, highly recommended

Pros: great burgers, great atmosphere, cold beer

Cons: none

Go for the grilled calamari, stay for the service. Seriously. Both are above par. Of course, the fact that the wait staff is both attractive and amiable is also a plus.

Pros: amiable waitstaff, delicious food

I'd been to Fetch in the past, but recently had the opportunity to have brunch there on a Sunday and then dinner two nights later. On both occasions the wait staff was friendly and efficient. The food is above average. The Sunday brunch pancakes were just right. Perhaps the most unique and one of the best things on the menu is the Philly Cheese Steak Egg Roll. Yep...it's just what it sounds like: cheese steak fixin's wrapped in an egg roll wrapper and deep fried. It's fantastic. Of course, it's not the healthiest thing on the menu, but there are two per order, so it's great to share. The other thing to note is Fetch's "mission", which is to showcase rescued and adopted dogs (hence the name). It's a worthwhile pursuit and they should be commended for their actions.

Pros: Food, service, mission

I went there this past Saturday with friends and family. It's a cute place with a few tables outside and a dog theme inside. My friends and I got mimosas and amazing food for reasonable prices. They have this strawberry butter they serve with the bread that is sooo good. We had a sweet waitress with curly blond hair take care of us. She was very attentive and extremely friendly. I highly recommend this place. Great food, great waitress! You'll love it.

Been going there for years and find having a beer or light meal in their bar area to be relaxing with a mature crowd--not the frat boy crowd that talks too much and too loud. However, dining in their sit-down area can be dicey. The waitress's don't seem too attentive. They take your order and then dispappear, leaving the "runners" and Bus-boy's to be your contact for the rest of the evenings. The last time I dinned, my appetizer didn't even get delivered until the runner realized it after bringing my entree. Thus I had to eat both dishes together. The waitress screwed up. Their waittresses appear to be young girls who act as if they're in some play, not taking their jobs seriously. I'd go to the bar for drinks but would avoid the dinning expereince--there's something phony about the place.

Pros: Ambience, beer selections, menu

Cons: Wait staff, too much reliance on "runners"

This is my favorite place on the UES to meet friends for dinner or order takeout from. Everything on the menu is delicious, affordable and good solid American/Italian comfort food. Service is almost always attentive and friendly in person and on the phone. Highly recommend the chicken fingers, veggie burger, blackened salmon, apple salad, and most definitely the apple-berry crisp served piping hot topped with crispy oats and ice cream.

Pros: Cozy, Friendly, Great food, Benefits homeless pups.

Cons: Always get the wine order wrong
