This place never disappoints!
by sahinkle
I have been to Fetch four times so far, and it never disappoints. Though the place always seems packed, I almost never have to wait for a table. The one time I had to wait, we sat comfortably at the bar and had a drink. The hostess was so apologetic that we had to wait 15 minutes.
The food is delicious and they have a great beer selection. Typically, I enjoy my own food, but also drool over what I see everyone else ordering. I recommend the meatloaf and the chicken club salad. I'm also dying to try their calamari.
The service is prompt and the staff always seems so friendly. I love that this place is not too formal and very comfortable. On their patio, they also put out water for dogs. Such a cute touch! Their dog photo decor is also adorable.
I will continue to frequent Fetch. What a great neighborhood restaurant!
- Pros: great food, friendly & prompt service
- Cons: ?
Yummy!
by AngieSays
I LOVE this place. The decor is super cute and perfect for dog lovers. My boyfriend and I have dinner here pretty much any time I'm in the city. The tables are intimate and not too fussy. There is usually only a small candle, sometimes flowers. The food is delicious, big portions and reasonably priced. :)
- Pros: Food, fast service, not pushing
- Cons: lighting-- a little hard to see the menu!
Great comfort food in a cute atmosphere
by ri02840
I've been going to fetch for 4 years now...great burgers! The service is always friendly and the owner and his wife are almost always around circulating and greeting the customers. They have tons of cute pictures of dogs all over the walls that customers have brought it....bring yours in a frame and they will hang it up! They let you dine in the front with your dog during the warmer months. A great place that I will continue to visit.
- Pros: Great burger, good service
Good comfort food

I normally go for places that have new and interesting food, but Fetch is one of the few places I keep going back to for the basics. The meatloaf is fantastic and the burgers are perfect, especially the burger bowl (burger and an egg over rice and smothered in gravy anyone?) The salads all taste very good, especially the Adam's Apple salad and the Asian steak salad. I don't recommend the philly cheese steak rolls unless you follow the Cheez Whiz school of cheese steak perfection (I prefer real cheese in mine). The calamari is grilled instead of fried, making it simply delicious. The only complaint I have is that I enjoy a bourbon and Coke with my dinner and the Coke in this place is always very flat.
The people who work in this place are real nice and very friendly, especially the big, scary-looking, biker-type host (he might be the owner?) As a plus, you can dine with your dogs in the sidewalk eating area. The ambiance inside is pretty standard, more cozy than a diner and comfortable to hang around in. Pictures of dogs adorn all of the walls and I think they run some kind of adoption program there as well.
In short, Fetch is a restaurant with a heart that offers good food at a decent price and probably something on the menu for almost anyone.
- Pros: Tasty, simple dishes, friendly staff, dog friendly outside
- Cons: Flat soda
The best neighborhood place!
by mkirk99
I'm almost afraid to rate this because I don't want Fetch to get too popular but I feel like I need to tell everyone how wonderful it is. The staff is always very friendly and the food can't be beat. Stick with the salads, burgers, sandwiches or steaks. I've been disappointed with some of the "homestyle" main dishes. My favorite beer is the Six Point Sweet Action. Fetch is the best!
- Pros: Awesome beer, food and service
- Cons: Some of the tables are in the middle of the main walkway
Brunch is the Best
by wisebrain
Really simple and good brunch. Strawberry butter is amazing. Price range is typical for UES.
- Pros: Strawberry Butter
- Cons: Price slightly high
Great service and food!

My new favorite place to eat. The food is great (and so is the wine!), the service is wonderful-friendly and polite-and the atmosphere is just wonderful. I am taking all my friends there now! Try the 'Duke's Goodnight' cocktail-it's incredible.
- Pros: delicious food and drinks, nice waitresses, cute pictures of dogs everywhere
- Cons: none!
Best Burger I ever had
by cityboyyy
I used to live in the city right by fetch... and I have to say I loved it as my neighborhood bar and it had one of the best burgers ever, highly recommended
- Pros: great burgers, great atmosphere, cold beer
- Cons: none
yummy

Go for the grilled calamari, stay for the service. Seriously. Both are above par. Of course, the fact that the wait staff is both attractive and amiable is also a plus.
- Pros: amiable waitstaff, delicious food
Try the Philly Cheese Steak Egg Rolls
by mike_the_laborer
I'd been to Fetch in the past, but recently had the opportunity to have brunch there on a Sunday and then dinner two nights later. On both occasions the wait staff was friendly and efficient. The food is above average. The Sunday brunch pancakes were just right. Perhaps the most unique and one of the best things on the menu is the Philly Cheese Steak Egg Roll. Yep...it's just what it sounds like: cheese steak fixin's wrapped in an egg roll wrapper and deep fried. It's fantastic. Of course, it's not the healthiest thing on the menu, but there are two per order, so it's great to share.
The other thing to note is Fetch's "mission", which is to showcase rescued and adopted dogs (hence the name). It's a worthwhile pursuit and they should be commended for their actions.
- Pros: Food, service, mission
