7 Day $5.95 lunch special can't be beat!

Finding Mini Thai Cafe on Avenue A between 6th & 7th St. was like finding an oasis after my blind friend was verbally abused, refused service, and thrown out of Shopsin's at the Essex Street Market. Mini Thai was just the place she needed to heal at with their friendly, calming, comforting staff, immaculately clean space, delicious generous portions of food, extremely reasonable prices, and wonderful air conditioning (in the heat wave). If all of Shopsin's potential customers who were refused service made their way up to Mini Thai, the place would be packed! After your Mini Thai vacation, stop into Ray's Candy Store on the next block up (another establishment that appreciates their customers and deserves to remain open, unlike Shopsin's)!

Very Good!

I go here all the time and you can't beat it. The food is tasy, the atmosphere is authentic, and the service is great. Definitely a place to check out if you are in the east village.

Cozy little joint

Nice little place in a great neighborhood, very friendly staff, excellent pad thai. Went late, not a problem, even had a "dj" pumping out some great 90's dance and disco! Fun!! Check it out!
