Horrible service - lukewarm (at best) "grilled" sandwichi

On 9/15/09 at 2:45pm, the man at the counter was surly & barely monosyllabic. He reluctantly took my order and barely pressed my grilled sandwich which turned out to be lukewarm - at best. He seemed hellbent to keep his nonexistent customers at that same level. In the sense of ensuring that he would have no customers, he did that well.

What's wrong whit u guys??? Rush hour has deffenetly the best food u can get in the lower east side, varitty, n quallity!!not talking about the late night deliverys,...salut rush hour..:)

Delicious burgers with a side of tater tots...you can't go wrong!!....the place is a little small..so if you don't feel like staying..just take it to go!!!!!!!!! worth it.

Decent Food, Horrible Service

I used to go here regularly, but the last three or four times I have been the guys behind the counter haven't been able to get my order right. I'm not sure why but the guys there just don't seem to know their menu and consistently get my order wrong. The food is good if they guys are paying attention, otherwise it is just average. They have a great selection of burgers (the Old Lady, mozzarella and pesto, is my favorite) and are open late, but the horrible service is just too much.

really bad burgers

I just had probably my worst dining experience in NYC. The "French" burger had a tiny smudge of goat cheese, the "Mexican" burger's "avocado spread" had that rotten avocado taste, the fries were clearly Ore-Ida, and the jalapeno poppers were frozen in the middle. Plus it was dirty, smelly, and the "outdoor" area felt like a beach bathroom.

Late Night Snacks

This place cant be beat for after hours burgers & onion rings. Although the service is a bit slow, everything is made fresh and every single thing is made to order. What's also great is that no matter how late u eat, the food here is healthy enough that you wont feel like you swallowed a stone when you wake up the next morning.

• Pros: Yummy Turkey Burgers, Great Onion Rings, Open Late

Poor delivery

So this is the only place that was opened late at night, and it used to be decent food. Just tried ordering from them again, now that they're under new management. It took them 45mins to deliver, the burgers weren't what I remembered and the wings were soggy. Then to top that off, the delivery person complains about the tip and asked for more...very rude. I would rather have cold cereal then order here again.
