Solid And Secluded

This is like a warehouse converted to a dance club. Expect the drinks to be spendy but plenty of room to dance. This place can get crowded but can feel real empty when just a few people leave.
- Pros: Location, Music, Drinks
- Cons: Attitude (at times)
not worth going to...

I recently had my bday/halloween party here last Oct 29 as suggested by a friend...we had no problems sending the guest list to the event coordinator by email but we were surprised when we got there only to find out that there is no guest list nor were the people infront aware that I have a party there...it was ridiculous! when we looked for the coordinator, they simply said that he's not working that night & will contact him first regarding this matter. It took them 10 mins to figure out what was going on & to make it worst the bouncer was rude! It's a good thing my friends made that night fun, otherwise, if u are planning to enjoy a good weekend fun or a get together-choose a diff place instead 'coz Freight is just a huge space but totally empty inside from the service to the crowd...
- Pros: huge space
- Cons: , poor service, rude bouncer
A big eating hall/party space pushes for top position on the venue list.

The Scene
The owners of Frank's Steakhouse and the Chelsea Market butchery that bears the same name have squeezed this super-sized restaurant and club into the square footage once inhabited by a Nabisco factory. A minor facelift has been provided, through the surgical hands of well-known graffiti artist and Lachapelle-cohort Ernie Dallas, but the look and feel of this big mess hall begs for more reconstructive surgery.
The Draw
While eating unadorned plates of Southern-fried, soul-tinged fare--Cajun shrimp, macaroni and cheese, ribs, chicken fingers and crab cakes--or a bland tuna sandwich with no accompanying fries or garnish, you can't help but feel like the bell is about to ring sending you back to work. The venue is attracting serious attention as a nightspot, however: Urban style mag The Fader has taken over Thursday nights, hiring talented DJ Cosi to spin, and DJ Candela works a salsa groove every other Saturday.
Huge Space
by jackryan
This place is just a huge open space. Male bartenders didn't care much about serving you, had to flag them down. Supposedly some of my friends had to wait in a line outside but the place was about a quarter full. Good place for a large party.
Just Right

Great space, good looking staff, cool music with no hassle at the door. Trendy without overdoing it. This up and coming space is downtown without the nasty attitude of a lot of other so called "in places".
Saturday is the night to be there.
Only gonna get better

This place is HUGE! Me and my friends went there for happy hour last friday. Drinks were only $3...yes that is correct, $3! The place has a huge dance floor and a great layout. The deco must be new, because the place looks very nice and trendy. Thats why i didnt get why i was only paying $3 a beer? To top it off there was NO cover!
This is a great meeting place to go out with a group of friends and have a great time. I have a feeling Freight 410 will be around for a long time!
- Pros: Service was Great!, Bar is HUGE!, Very friendly people
- Cons: DJ was ok, Louder music, more tv's
GOOD FIND !!

FREIGHT 410 IS A GREAT FIND WITH A GREAT HAPPY HOUR. THE NO ATTITUDE APPROACH TO UPSCALE NIGHTLIFE IS A REFRESHING CHANGE FROM THE USUAL VELVET ROPE NONSENSE.
Definetly Go

The owner / bartender (or bartender that claimed to be the owner) was extremely rude and delivered terrible service.
Save the time and money-DON'T GO

Honestly, one of the worst dining experiences that I have experienced in this city. Went originally when they first opened. I ordered a salad and when they brought it over, they forgot the dressing. They went in the back for about 10 minutes only to come out to tell me that they had no dressing. I decided to give it one more try a week ago and my experience was no better. The waitresses there are worse than incompetent and the food is no better than Denny's.
