Perfect warm nook
by AshSampsonite1
I hope hope HOPE this place stays open during the recession! I love going to Serafina, this restaurant in particular. It is tiny, and that is its best feature. I feel cozy and romantic when I'm there - a great place to linger with one friend or a few. There food is good and the portions are nice, but its the atmosphere that I find so special.
- Pros: Small - in a good way! Attentive servers
- Cons: Limited hours
PIzza time

OK food bad service

I took a friend for lunch and we both ordered a pasta dish. When I got through about half of my pasta, I found a piece of hair in my dish. So I called the waiter and told him there is a hair in my pasta and he took my plate and brougt me a bill instead of a new plate. I wouldn't go back there again for this kind of service.
- Pros: Location
- Cons: Service
Mediocre food, terrible service
by jenny680
The food here is mediocre at best. I went with 5 of my girlfriends for lunch... all of us left unsatisfied. I ordered the Linguine Alla Vongole, endive salad to start. There was sand in my clams, and the salad was not fresh. My friend's "limon" pasta was overcooked. Service was slow and unaccomodating. All in all, for the price you pay to eat here, you are much better off spending your money elsewhere.
- Pros: Cozy decor, quick seating
- Cons: Mediocre food, High prices, bad service
Chef Sandro Rules The World
by sneaks
Thank You Chef Sandro. I've had diner here dozens of times, and every time is a transporting experience for me. The chicken liver appetizer brings back memories of how mom used to make it. The steak entree on the tobacco menu is simply wonderful. Service is attentive and friendly. Chef Sandro is as entertaining as the food is great.
- Pros: Food, Service, Chef Sandro
AMAZING!

wonderful selection of appetizers- (grilled artichoke is killer!) and the pasta dishes are fantastic. there is this one 'lemon cream' pasta dish- so unique to find something like lemon and parmesean on the same plate! the seafood is also great- tender seabass and maine lobster linguine.
a must try.. located in a little nook right next to Tao
- Pros: attentive staff, wonderful wine list, best pasta
A hidden gem
by jerzgrll
This restaurant doesn't look exceptional when you first walk in -- the decor is perfectly acceptable, but it doesn't reflect the INCREDIBLE quality of the food. This is literally some of the best food I've ever eaten in my life. I heard about it through word of mouth, and I will definitely be going back -- and telling everyone to try it!
