I would have given this restaurant 5 stars, but my table was sticky, which was somewhat gross. However, the service was friendly and efficient, the food was delicious and with good portions, and the decor was really cool!! The bathrooms were freaky, but clean and fun. All in all a recommended place to go.

Pros: good service, good food, cool atmosphere

Cons: sticky table

If you do not have reservations the wait for this place can be crazy, especially on weekends. The food was good and worth the price.

Pros: Food, decor

Cons: Wait on weekends.

I have read a couple reviews and I am kind of shocked of the bad ones. Let me first say that I have been here more than once, and have witnessed both the day’s quiet scenery, and the night’s crowded club like atmosphere. Both are beautiful. Food...IS GREAT, somewhat spicy, yet satisfying. I suggest the "Yum Tum Fritters. I didn’t get to taste the deserts, I was feeling a lil sick so I passed, Yet I took a for her birthday, and according to her facial expressions while biting into a piece of fudge cake flowing with thick chocolate and a scope of ice-cream, IT WAS GREAT! Service, mmm is kind Ok, sometimes I guess the waiters should ask a million times if everything is ok....Besides that no complaints. What more is there to say except I think I am going to enjoy last nights left-over... Happy B-Lated Birthday Keyma!!!

I heard so much about this place that, when two friends suggested it the other day, I went along. Major disaster - Read AVOID! STAY AWAY! ... What are these people thinking??? I've eaten at both mom-and-pop and trendy Thai places. SEA is an insult to Thai food. The food is generic, the presentation is rushed and unappealing, drinks are strong and favorless, noisy spot (crowd looked like the entire world had heard about this place!).... AVOID! Here's your first hint: You place your order and you have your food within 5 minutes! Hmmmm, I could picture a kitchen full of gigantic pots and huge ladles scooping food onto plates, fast conveyor belt speed: Gotta move this crowd! ... I felt like I was at some mall or airport hitting the Food Court for some fast-food Thai... With all due respect to my fellow Thai food fans, friends, there are plenty of holes in the wall that serve Thai food with more class and taste than SEA. You've gotta be clueless about Thai food to eat here!

Pros: None

Cons: Noisy, Generic food, Flavorless drinks

This restaurant is one of the best Thai food places in the country in my opinion. Not only does it offer great prices and food but it has the coolest interior and ambience of any lounge in the city. Plus, it is extremely clean. A mix of the 70's , 80's and 90's with benches, hanging chairs, hanging bead drapes and comfortable chairs. The cocktails are strong and plentiful for the price and well worth the wait which is pretty minute. The restrooms are walkin capsules and each one has a television screen of what's going in the lounge area. Also there is a big sink in the middle of the capsules that reminds me of a kindergarten sink where everybody could wash their hands at the same time. There is a huge rectangular coy pool in the middle of the restaurant. The food is fabulous and the service is impeccable and very reasonably priced. Any person budget could afford to have a great night out. Especially in New York. I wish I still lived there.

Pros: Even if it is busy on the weekends, you could still enjoy yourself while you are waiting.

Cons: Weekends are busy, so get there early.

Dined out at Sea last night for the first time and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. My fiancé and I arrived at the restaurant roughly around 10pm and had to wait a solid 40 minutes before getting a table, was not shocked since it was a Saturday night. We spent our time waiting by the crowded bar and tried one of their specialty mojitos, which was slightly sweet but overall one of the better that I have tried around NYC. Everything from the loud pumping music to the low dimmed lights, created a feeling like we were dining inside of a night club, which is pretty fun if you’re on a date or hanging out with a bunch of friends. Honestly the reasonable prices were too hard to resist, and we ended up ordering 6 dishes between the two of us, the most expensive main dish was under $15 and their appetizers were ranging from $5-9. The food was all right for the cost, but if I had one complaint, I think the dishes were overly sweet. We ordered two glasses of house white wine, which were $5 each and our total bill came out to $60. Overall had a great dining experience at Sea for the atmosphere, the food was okay (too sweet in my case) but a good place to have a few drinks and nibble on some snacks.

Pros: Reasonable prices and a great place to have a few drinks and a snack

Cons: Dishes were too sweet

The atmosphere is really nice, dimly lit and just love the decorations. The appetizers were really good and the volcanic chicken was really cool (it came flaming!!) and not to mention good. Decent service. I would definitely go back.

Being a truck driver gets me to an ungodly number of towns and cities in America. That said and to bust all of your conceptions of this trucker I'm over 50 ride a motorcycle and am the kewlest dad in my sons school! Now to SEA! I love the Williamsburg area! The rebuilding is bringing about change and one of them is Sea! I found SEA by accident on a stroll. I walked in on a Monday evening was seated, right off ,the waiter was there taking my order for my drink. The place is a fun place to go. Music is Techno and just loud enough to keep you tapping your feet while eating and watching the crowd and I'm always there on a Monday and yes there is always a crowd! On all of my visits to SEA the place is up beat along with the wait staff. The food was fantastic and priced right. French pressed coffee was done right and the servings size just enough to fill you up but not slow you down for a night of wandering! Yes the staff watches you but when you need a refill you will NOT wait for your waiter! He's THERE which is something lacking in the restaurant business these days, service. Call me old fashioned, but for my tip, they earn it! The ONLY thing wrong with the menu is the Thai system of numbering the food with the spice (hotness) level of the dish is missing, so be sure to ask the staff or be surprised if you can't handle real Thai cooking!

Pros: Ambience, pricing, service, location
