Greatest Dentist I found Downtown Dental Studio on Google because of great reviews. I am MORE than pleased. From the receptionists being so friendly and remembering me by name, to the dental assistant and hygienist being funny and informative, I LOVE this dentist. Dr. S. is smart and youthful. Plus, I had never had a filling before and all three (yes three) were done in 45 minutes PAINLESSLY. I love this dentist. Go there. Really.

For the amount of work done I didn't think eating solid foods would be an option. Job well done with minimal pain. Thx

I've been with this office for several years (starting with previous location). Everything about this office is AAA. Had variety of procedures done -- very satisfied.

I landed on Dr Silvers door step yesterday after finding their office information on Yelp and Google. You see, I had a front tooth fall right out. Not a big deal if you are 8, a very big deal at 43. I had a previous Dentist - you know, the ones with the fancy schmancy office, the low voices, the very expensive decor, and ZERO patient care or love. I wanted and needed a new dentist, and now. I was hoping to finally connect with a talented, honest, caring, compassionate, great results Dentist and office, for both my daughter and I, and guess what, I found them! Dr S and his amazing staff took me right in!! I now have a tooth that I desperately needed, my SMILE back, and a new Dentist for my daughter and I! You don't realize how much you can miss your smile until you lose it! They knew, and that means the world to me!! To top it all off they were more than generous in working with me financially. With gratitude and smiles! VR

I've been going here for the past 2 years. Everytime there's a different hygenist, which has been fine since I've always had the same dentist (Dr. Factor). BUT NOT ANYMORE. My last appointment, they cancelled without notification - I went all the way there to find out my appointment had been changed and that they had left me a voicemail the previous business day (SO NOT TRUE). Since then, they've rescheduled all of my appointments, some of them multiple times in the SAME DAY, only hours before I was to be sitting in the office, no matter how far in advance I booked the appointment. Not to mention, Dr. Silver was HORRIFYINGLY AWFUL. I need dental work done and had xrays taken already, but he insisted that I get another set of xrays saying my insurance would cover it. And then he got all my x-rays confused. ALL. I had to constantly correct him about which teeth I wanted him to look at, and the x-rays were so expensive, I don't have enough insurance coverage left for the actual work I want done. To make matters worse, after 15 minutes of him fumbling through my xrays, Dr. Silver told me I had to have all my cavities redone. He said they were all old and decaying, but couldn't tell me how long I'd had any of them. I have recommended the studio to several people over the past 2 years, but none of them want to go anymore - my roommate has vowed NEVER to go back after being regretfully pressured into replacing all his cavities when he went into have his teeth cleaned. He had been going for 1.5 years before that incident and it was his first time with Dr. Silver. He also warned me, but I had been going here for 2 years already with Dr. Factor and wanted to give the new guy a shot since he had great reviews on citysearch. My coworkers have also had trouble with their appointments being constantly rescheduled that they have yet to go for their cleaning. Extremely unprofessional - don't go here!

I recommend Dr. Silver and Downtown Dental Center The most important factor anyone should consider is experience. I came to Dr. Silver after my previous dentist sold her practice to a couple of newly licensed dentists, who had very little experience and I was not happy. I am condfident with Dr. Silver and his experience. Also, another important factor to consider is whether the dentist you chose is a dentist first and business person second. I have been to dentists before when I had the distinct feeling I was being sold things I did not need. This is not the case with Dr. Silver. I was very happy when he reviewed my X-rays with me and went over them. Dr. Silver explains things and is comprehensive and you don't feel as if you are being rushed. Additionally, I feel the hygienists Galina spend TOP quality time with me and that I get my money's worth. Thumbs up to Dr. Silver and Downtown dental .

Pros: Dr. Silver calm manner will comfort you

Dr. Silver is the most caring and gentle human being I've ever met. After a procedure, he even called me through the weekend to make sure I was doing OK. This is going to be my dentist forever and I have even recommended him to several of my co-workers. I can't believe someone had a negative experience here. By the way, fillings do decay and need to be replaced over time, do a Google search. If there were more stars I would give it a higher rating.

I just wanted to say thank you so much! He totally took care of me, and my teeth are now fixed! Absolutely everything was wonderful at this dentist-including the front desk receptionists, hygienist, dental assistants and his partner. I was extremely impressed! Again, I just want to say thanks a lot!

I can't believe these other people went to the same place. in a word this place is scary. I walked in and sat down in the chair- in less than one minute Dr. Silver said that I needed to replace ALL of my fillings. when I told him I wasn't sure of that he tried to intimidate me and gave me the hard sell. this guy is interested in one thing: money. I promptly got up and walked out, although after he tried to stop me and plead with me to sit back down etc. DO NOT GO HERE. it actually deserves ZERO stars. I confirmed the next day that my fillings are fine and do not need to be replaced.... (obviously at a different dentist) These 40 reviews are almost definitely FAKE and done by Dr. Silver and his friends colleagues etc.

Cons: this guy is a shyster, and will try to intimidate you

I absolutely LOVE this dental clinic. There isn't one thing I could ask to be better and I am a very particular person. If I can't find anything--they are doing GREAT! Doctor did my fillings and you cannot even see the line between the tooth and the filling. It is amazing. He is very thorough. Workmanship is first class, waiting time is practically 0, everyone is so friendly--very good experience. I have been to many dentists and I have never seen a more skilled dentist. Look no further. About Hygienist: Very caring, patient, and knowledgable."
