Yumm-o

by charliechuch

This place is sooo good! I love that i can pick diff. types of pizza w/o being a complete hog. You can have a bit of this and a bit of that...brilliant! The pizza is so addictive- i just love it! It is thinner than the typical slice so you don't feel weighed down after which is always a plus.

  • Pros: Delicious pizza and you can taste all diff. kinds
  • Cons: There aren't enough locations. Random craving and inconvenient times

Great Pizza in a fun clean space.

by dzan

Really good pizza...and so much nicer than the normal dirty old pizza place...If you haven't been you should GO...sometimes the place can be a bit noisy...but the food makes up for it! My favorite is the pepperoni pizza...but next trip I'm trying the mushroom...those portabello mushrooms look so tasty on the pizza...not so sure about the bacon and egg pizza...but looks interesting...I am always amazed at what other people eat here...there is a potato chip pizza...a strawberry with chocolate pie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I wish they had arrugula and proscuitto...

There is artwork on the walls...I live in Brooklyn but am in the Union Square area often and stop by to get my fix. Maybe they'll open a PIE in Fort Greene(hint hint)...

  • Pros: Good...Great Pizza
  • Cons: a bit noisy...

Great Pizza

by bayridgegal

Love this place. There is a great selection and I think it is more affordable than pizzerias who charge by the slice. The retro/funky design is cool. We always stop by when we are in the neighborhood.

One More Pizza Place

by nevedovsky

This place has a somewhat fun vibe to it, compared with many other places that serve pizza. Also, they serve up a great variety of combinations that one might not normally see, and the pizza is pretty good too; however, the fact that they put your slice of pizza on a scale to determine its weight goes a bit too far, and also results in paying a bit of a premium for a slice of pizza which, while good, does not merit paying more than one would pay at most places. Give it a try if you're up for a change of pace, but overall, there are better deals.

A hip spot selling imaginative oblong pizzas at affordable prices.

by Contributor

The Scene
The clean, curvaceous pop design distinguishes this narrow, brightly lit pizza joint. The room is dominated by a counter showcasing the day's fresh pizzas, which a bevy of young servers cut to order with scissors and sell by the pound. The restaurant's dearth of tables makes delivery an appealing option.

The Food
Pie takes a liberal approach to pizza, concocting a vast assortment of pies with toppings ranging from traditional to interesting--prosciutto and ricotta--to downright strange: potato chips and walnuts, or whole eggs. Experimentation is a good thing, but the classic Neopolitan offerings tend to be the tastiest. Crusts are thin and crisp, but a bit dry, which makes the sauceless pizzas less satisfying. Dessert pizzas, such as mascarpone and Nutella, and gelato and caramel, are surprisingly good.

A little Rome in NY

by freddytran

The pizza and the people remind me of the old school pizzerias in Rome. This is the way pizza was meant to taste like, not loaded with a ton of cheese and marinara. Neopolitan is the best. The restaurant itself is kind of a hole and very stuffy, but the pizza makes up for it.

Whats the big deal

by rwetstone

Yeah, the thin crust pizza is very tasty, but the whole "snip and weigh" thing is a bit too precious. It also makes a couple pieces of pizza very expensive. And stay away from the pies with lots of toppings - you'll pay dearly for any extra weight!

Great pizzeria

by JJMarshall123

Finally someone cleaned up pizzerias! Great thin crust, with lots of choices for toppings. Very inventive, love the Nutella pizza. Brunch pizza with eggs and bacon is delicious. Fast delivery too.

  • Pros: Inexpensive, Great Pizza, Friendly
  • Cons: Busy

Mama Mia!

by CornflakeGirl

Pie has good pizza for slightly more than you would pay at a traditional pizzaria. The combos they have work well and the crust is thin and crispy but maybe a tiny bit on the dry side. The best thing about though is the fact that you can order any size piece you want. It's a great way to sample several without getting too stuffed.
