The Scene
No, it's not a strip club, but the name is indeed inspired by a triple-X show in the owner's hometown. Eric Raz, the man who got partyers flying high at Idlewild, has constructed a simple, elegant space of concrete, tile and red vinyl behind an unmarked door on an otherwise residential block. Hip yet harmonious guests drink flavored vodkas and play nice under low lights in this discreet hideaway.

The Draw
Different DJs each night spin rock and electro, and the multi-level cage plays double duty as a unique seating area for patrons and dance stage for Chelsea boys in chaps, go-go dancers or whoever else might be passing through. The bar has the vague feel of a bathhouse, most evident at the provocative unisex wash area, where sink spouts are made of shower heads. It may not be a strip joint, but the easy, egalitarian vibe here feels almost illicit.
