This place is fun. I've been there twice and I really like the place. I went there both times with a large group and there was actually enough place to stand and sit. Definitely come again! This might be my new spot on Thursday nights )))

Avoid!!!!

I don't understand people leaving positive reviews. Probably, owners of the place write them.

Alibi is the last place where I would plan my private party. The place is hot and noisy. The choice of songs sucks, music is very loud and acoustics is terrible... It's impossible to have any kind of conversation there. Drinks are expensive and the place is very crowded.

Highly NOT recommended.

cozy little spot!

A group of my friends and I hung out here last weekend, we got there around 9pm so we were able to grab a nice space by the DJ booth. The service was awesome, the bartender was so friendly and smiley and didnt mind making any of the crazy shots we asked for :) The DJ was playing all our favorite tunes, it got alot busier later on so we headed on to our next spot but we will definitely be back... sooner rather than later!

• Pros: strong drinks, friendly service
• Cons: got pretty crowded (is that a con?)

Amazing service...great place for private parties!

Had a private company holiday party at Alibi on a Monday night and I couldn't be more thrilled with the service! The entire planning process was so easy, thanks to Glenda! She was very accomodating and helpful. And the prices were more than reasonable.

The night of the holiday party was perfect too! The manager for the night, Jarrod, provided exceptional service--always checking in with me, and making sure all of the food came out at the right time. The DJ was great and definitely kept the party going strong.

Thanks for a great night! We will definitely do another holiday party here again.

Great Place for a Party

Glenda, the events director was outstanding! The waitress was outstanding! I will definitely reccommend this place and definitely have many parties in the future.

Great place for a party

Glenda and staff, especially Linda, provided outstanding service during my birthday party on 8/28. They treated my like a Queen. Bottle service came with sparklers that put the spotlight on me and made my night special. The birthday cupcakes were yummy too - we loved them. My friends & I had a fabulous time! It's a small place but the ambiance, decor were warm & inviting & DJ had us dancing all night. Call Glenda for your party, you won't regret it.

The DJ on Fridays is the best I've ever heard. I'm a huge Michael Jackson fan and tonight the Dj did a tribute to him - it was so good I cried - seriously it was that good MJ is smiling down wherever he is because the DJ really captured his essence everone was going crazy. I didn't get a chance to personally compliment him so that's why I'm writing this. This place is a very tiny place but the DJ is the best in manhattan. He did MJ justice. RIP Michael and god bless that DJ

Great place for a bachelorette party!

My girlfriend recently got engaged so the girls and I planned a bachelorette party for her at Alibi. From the get-go I felt confident about my decision to do her party at Alibi. The owner Glenda was so helpful and she walked me through everything with such class and style. Glenda suggested a few appetizers and a party package for our party, and she was right....it was PERFECT! I really liked this place and my girlfriend and all my friends have a wonderful time. Thank you Glenda, your staff is amazing and so are you!

Hey Mister Deejay!

Cool place, I went the other night and the deejay freaking rocks! Awesome mix of current stuff and the old classics. Danced with my lady and we both had a great time!!!! Their deejay is phat!

Hip downtown club

last week i went to this place called alibi and at first i wasn't too sure about the place, because from the outside it doesn't look like much. but when i went inside, things were very different from street level. the place has a suave decor and lots of chairs to sit on after you've been dancing for a while and need to take a break. the bartender made really good drinks and they weren't crazy expensive. and on-top of that, there were lots of hot guys there, plenty for me and my friend to chose from. great place!
