The Italian cateyes from the 1960s and Civil War-era spectacles all have a fun cinematic feel, which would explain why they are so often used in films such as "Capote" and "A Night at the Museum." The eyeglass and sunglass frames, stored mostly in rows of aged wooden drawers, have more personality than many designer frames at only a fraction of the cost. A selection of jewelry, classic hats and antique clothing from as far back as the 1700s accompanies the 40,000-strong vintage eyeglass collection.
