If you are looking for a good driving school, you MUST try this school. I have been to quite a few. My instructor was patient and he taught me different defensive driving techniques. I was very satisfied with my lessons.

I PASSED!!

I JUST GOT BACK FROM MY ROAD TEST. I PASSED FINALLY AFTER MONTHS OF TRYING. I WENT TO DIFFERENT SCHOOLS IN BROOKLYN AND QUEENS, NONE HELPED. SO I LOOKED AROUND THE AREA WHERE I WORK AND ITS SO AMAZING HOW I GOT MY LICENSE SO SOON. I CAME IN THE OFFICE PURCHASED A COMPLETE PACKAGE OF 7.5 HOURS WITH A FAST ROAD TEST APPOINTMENT. STARTED MY LESSONS THE NEXT DAY. I AM SO HAPPY AND I COULD ONLY GIVE THE THANKS TO DRIVING CENTER OF NEW YORK. THANK YOU SO MUCH ALL YOUR INSTRUCTORS WERE GREAT. I WILL BE RECOMMENDING YOU GUYS TO MY CO-WORKERS AND FAMILY. I REALLY CAN'T BELIEVE HOW QUICK AND EASY THIS WAS FOR ME. I HAVE TO GIVE A BIGGER THANKS TO THE TWO INSTRUCTORS THAT FULLY PREPARED ME FOR THE TEST..

i got my license like two weeks ago....Thank god to driving center i passed my road test. i'm 18yrs old never been behind the wheel til 3months ago... the instructors there are great...very friendly n caring...they helped me alot wit my parallel parking and 3 point turns..also they were very patient. The dispatchers at the office are very friendly as well....the 5hr class wasn't boring at all....i had a few of my girlfriends tell me the school's they went to were boring but thank god it wasn't the same experience for me...i recommend this school for anyone that wants to get their licenses or need some lessons behind the wheel.....if the driving school helped me get my license's....they could help anyone :)

At last, I'm a teen driver now thanks to Driving center. I've been driving with my dad since i was 16, but wasn't confident enough so I bugged my dad on paying a driving school to give me lessons. After a week, he realized i won't stop, so he bought me a package as a birthday present. I had fun, learned a lot no offense to my dad but Bill my instructor taught me a lot more, He also gave me tips for my road test which i would have failed if I didn't take lessons. So again THANKS !!! I'll recommend you to my classmates!

Auto driving license - at last!

I am a teenage driver and I finally have my driver's license. I can't wait for my sweet sixteen present. Thanks to Don. I will recommend this school to all classmates.

Standard Shift made easy

Standard Shift driving is fun. Strongly recommend to new and advanced drivers who want to feel the power of their car. Great instruction technique. Don was patient and skillful. Highly recommend this excellent school.

Amazing school

At first, I was so nervous with the thought of learning to drive in new york city but my instructor made me feel very comfortable. He was always very patient, never lose his temper when I make a mistake. I took my roadtest and passed the first time. I had a wonderful learning experience with Driving Center of New York.I would highly recommend this driving school to anybody who wants to learning how to drive.

Standard Shift Gurus

I have always wanted to learn the standard shift car since I was a teenager but I always get stuck on hills that I lost faith in learning this type of automobile until I registered for one lesson try-out from Driving Center. My instructor, Don, has his own style of teaching who made shifting feel easy. He brought back my lost confidence. I took 3 more lessons, then I purchased my new sport's car. Thanks to DCNY, I highly recommend it to those who put manual driving on hold.

Outstanding people!

I passed my road test last February thanks to Vik and everyone else at the Driving Center. The experience for me was very rewarding and I did not encounter any issues with the office personell or with the instructors as all they did was help me in every way.

I passed my 5hr class, and my road test and this is something I strongly vouch for!

I just love the people a.k.a. jokesters that come here trashing this wonderful company. It seems to me that some very young individuals with lots of free time come only for the 5hr class and then cancel to then call the office and reschedule it, and then claim its the office's fault for canceling due to the young clients own stupidity in decisiveness. I have seen this happen in the 5 times I've been visiting the office. Everyone should give this place a try since its economical and at the end you will make good friends. My name is Mike.

great Motorcycle instruction

Great place! Great instruction! Don and Anna at DCNY helped me fulfill my lifelong dream so that at 57 I am now a fully licensed and experienced Motorcycle driver. Don paid attention to increasing my skills toward the road test requirements and we practiced in a safe and thorough manner. All the NYS rules were gone over and practiced and special difficulties such as clutch control, turning, and shifting were drilled excellently. DCNY provided the motorcycle, helmet and accompanied me to the Road test. Best wishes always to DCNY and all the would be Easy Riders. God Bless and drive safe!
