Very unhappy with the service there. Yes, Porfi was friendly but did not give me the haircut I asked for. Instead of the haircut I wanted, I got a COMPLETELY different haircut. Now I have to wait months for this to grow out before I can get it cut again. Not a very good listener or stylist..

Steve was cutting my hair for years until I had to move away, and the commute was to far to drive. No one has ever been able to cut my hair as amazing as Steve. I miss him and the Salon greatly. Great stylist.

I go to Steve (he cuts my hair) and he is fabulous. It's a little pricey, but worth it. I haven't had as good of luck with Porfi, but I would definitely try again. I've also had Jane who was really good. The only complaint would be they don't take credit cards...never really understood that. But they are nice, warm, very talented crew and would highly recommend!!

Well all I gotta say is for a bald man, Porfi is the GREATEST hairdresser, not only is he highly professional but he always makes you feel at home....from Jackie who cuts next to him & Debbie across the room this is a FUN place where everyone says "Hi!", people who are there, employees & customers alike, are full of life & everybodies smiling....lots of parking too & if you have to wait a little bit (which I never do) there are lots of things to do in the neighborhood like eating nearby, high profile shopping like GAP & Williams Sonoma or a nice hot cup of Hazelnut Coffee at Dunkin' Donuts hwere the donuts are sweet & the coffee is "Delish"....after having Porfi work wonders on my head I always think to myself?, "How did a bald man ever learn to cut hair so well!?!?!?".... ....Michael, Montclair, NJ

I lived in Montclair for 5 years and then moved - I still go back to have Porfi cut my hair and Maria highlight. This place looks upscale but the attitude is not - very friendly and great staff...I will keep coming here no matter what. The location is also great - you can get your hair done and within walking distance is a Williams Sonoma, Gap and Starbucks, as well as NYC trains and bus stop - and a great bagel place too. One of the best in the area!!!!!
