I bought my sony vaio laptop at circuit city not too long ago and was coaxed by the salesman into getting the warranty. My computer died a few weeks ago so I sent it in for 'expedited' service. I was told that they had to replace my laptop because the spare parts needed to fix it were no longer in production. Fine, I thought. What I didn't expect was that they would offer me a no-name laptop valued at less than half the price I originally paid for mine. I know technology deprecites fast but losing 50% of hte value over several months is just ridiculous. My friends who have Dell's never have htis problem.
