My Favorite Hotel in NYC
by labryant at Citysearch
It has been some time since I stayed at this hotel. To be honest I made reservations here by mistake and I am glad I did. A former friend of mine wanted to celebrate her birthday at the 40/40 Club and I was the go to person for keeping everyone up to date on everything. I stumbled across the hotel while surfing the web and was just excited to stay in the Financial District. It wasn't priced too high because myself and at least 4 other girls were splitting the bill.
When we arrived, I made sure to take a pic of the outside. It was gorgeous as soon as we stepped in. We were immediately greeted with perfect architecture, a beautiful lobby, and a friendly staff. They helped us out of the cab and took our bags up to our room. The view was amazing. We all exclaimed with joy because of the room we lucked up with. There was a beaufitul view of a gold statue on top of a building, a great view of ground zero, and at night the view of the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges just made me fall in love with NYC.
The room itself was a nice size. We had a nicely stocked bathroom, refrigerator, and enough room for 5 people to move around. The beds fit 2-3 people comfortably and were soft to the touch. Just wonderful and I cant' say that enough
Well worth the money
Too bad we only stayed for one day, but that hotel stayed with me because of how gorgeous everything was.
Sweet hotel!!

It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!
Decent

I invited my relatives to stay here for a Thanksgiving holidays, got a pretty good deal - $300 per night, 29th floor, overlooking Ground zero. The staff was very polite, the room was neat and tidy. The only thing - it's a really small room, even for one person

I recently stayed Saturday March 7, 2009 for 1 night to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and had a remarkable stay. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The subway station is literally right next to it in order to hop on and go further into the city! From the very moment we walked in we were greeted and helped accordingly when needed. I loved it we stayed on the 23rd floor with an amazing room and view! We will certainly come back.
Thanks to the Millenium Hilton and staff
- Pros: location, rooms, views, pleasant staff
- Cons: cant think of one
BEST HOTEL IN NYC!!!!
by katiesellu at Citysearch
I just moved from NYC to atlanta, and when i recent;y went back...i didn't want to stay with family, i decided to stay in the city @ the Millenium Hilton. And it was everything i expected it to be and more...it was ABSOLUTELY GREAT, from the front desk to check out. Everything was just 5-star quality, im a avid shopper and i loved the fact that Century 21 was literally next door, and i could easily catch a cab or train to any place in the city. The view of WTC and the Hudson River was phenominal!!!! I would recommend anyone stay at least a day @ the Millenium Hilton its sooooooo worth every penny.
- Pros: Room service, front desk employees, housekeeping, bell boy, food area the area and shopping around the area
- Cons: ABSOLUTELY NONE
Great All Around! :-)

Originally from NYC - I could not think of a better place to celebrate my birthday than coming back home as I live in the UK now! Had the best time and having a nice hotel is very much part of it. Staff were professional, approachable and polite. We had the best maid ever - and left our room in such good order. We were on the 36th Floor - beds comfortable, nice views. Would I go back....yes, in a flash. Thinking about my next birthday....and at the Hilton on Church Street. Thanks to the staff, it was enjoyable. BTW - Stagedoor across the street should get a mention - the best coffee in the world....and scambled eggs that will knock your socks off..and don't forget the bagels....but forget about the pounds. :~)
- Pros: Staff, cleaniness, location
- Cons: Ground zero is extremely close, may not be suitable for some.
Great hotel
by goofy_girl6 at Citysearch
The hotel is very clean, the staff are friendly and willing to help with anything. The beds are so comfy, as well as the pillows. The plasma...awesome. The only thing a little depressing is ground zero across the street. The area is pretty dead at night, and times square, fifth ave, etc are quite a good distance away. Overall great place.
- Pros: very nice, friendly staff. easy access to subway, century 21. Food was good.
- Cons: a little far from times square, not much going on at night.
Nice hotel to stay with
by imsamrat at Citysearch
I was in the hotel for a month and found it a nice place to stay .. The rooms are good and neat and are given with a great 42' Plasma and ready Internet for a reasonable amount, The AC makes a lot of sound otherwise is good. The room service is good there are a few things on the menu to eat for a vegetarian :( rest the place is good.. very near to the Statue of liberty and zero ground... there is J&R nearby and that's huge to shop for any electronic / computers stuff...Century 21 .. a huge departmental stpre with great prices all the time... The downtown otherwise is not a happening place at nights..and the area really sleeps after 10 PM... Overall the stay was good and this is a nice place to stay...
- Pros: Neat
excellent hotel
by johncritico at Citysearch
I stayed at Millenium on four different occassions last year. Don't have anything negative to say about this place (especially for the price). All the rooms look the same, but are very clean, modern, high-tech (big plasma TV, affordable internet access). My only quam with this hotel is that the downtown area (Wall Street) is pretty dead after hours. There are very few places to visit, eat, drink, or have fun - in another word, the most of NYC's attractions are distance away from the Hotel, nearest being the Battery Park city and the Statue of Liberty - the only view from my windows being the WTC and some glimpse of Hudson river. As with many three and four star hotels, you will pay extra $$ for extra services, but otherwise, it's a fine hotel.
- Pros: clean, modern
