**<<Great place for a Brazilian Wax>>**

I just moved to NY from Florida a month ago. Prior to moving, I had the same esthetician for 5 years!!! I was really nervous about going to someone new for my Brazilian wax. I have to say that I am more than thrilled with the end result (so is my bf...LoL!) The receptionist was really nice and welcoming. JP is the name of the esthetician who did my wax, she is awesome! Very thorough, made sure that every last hair was removed:-)and very professional. I will continue seeing her!! She made me feel very comfortable. *<<EXTRA>>* they have student discount!! Check out the website, very reliable service.

Loved the service by Emilly and the new DEAL !!!

I've been to a lot of salons in the past, but none of them offered me to use my college ID to save money. Emilly is one of the waxer there and she told me to just show my college Id at the front desk and I only paid $50 for my bikini wax. The J Sisters really understands the economy and it is making it better for college students !!! Emilly did a great job, fast and clean !!!

Overpriced and bad service

Receptionists are very rude and the service was horrible. I had a wax and it messy and left a great deal of hair all over. Definitely NOT worth the $80+ they charge.

Great Wax!

I moved from LA to NY for work. The only thing I could think was great where will I go for my wax ! After having the same girl for 10 yrs, I really couldn't picture walking into some local salon and have my wax done. Thanks to my co-worker's filling me in about this place I had a great wax. I was told they see Teresa, so that is who I asked to be seen with. Have to say, it was GREAT! She was very nice, FAST, and didn't miss a hair. Couldn't thank them more!

JP did a great job. She's really professional and thorough. Having tried a couple of other (pricey) places, I can say that I've been wasting my time elsewhere. It was relatively painless and she went back with tweezers to catch any stray hairs. Everything seems really well done. I'll almost certainly be back again. I just wish the walls in the rooms went to the ceiling! It's kind of semi-private in that way.

I absolutely hated this place.Sadly, a waste of time & money

A generous friend was kind enough to treat me, so I feel bad panning this place, but only for that reason. The staff here is unbelivably unwelcoming, well -- downright rude. I had an unhygenic mani/pedi where the nail tech cut me pretty badly, didn't apologize, and didn't bother to clean up the bloody mess before proceeding with the rest of pedi. They actually refused to use my personal set of instruments (professional grade and at least I knew MINE was sterilized) and insisted on using their instruments which had not necessarily been autoclaved. You don't get a foot or hand bath/massage, either, and no moisturizing of the new skin after sloughing off the dead skin -- kinda defeats the ultimate purpose of peeling off the old skin to reveal the new, moist skin if you don't protect the new layer!! The polish selection is severely limited, but the one upside is that their polish lasted about as long as OPI does on me, which is about 7-10 days, before chipping at the tips. I would never come here again and warn you all to STAY AWAY!

Best Wax

Awesome !!!! I"ve been to other salons in the city but at the J sisters I had the best experience ever !!! "Emilly " and " Jane" are the best waxers, I have ever been to !!! They are FAST and they are known to do a lot of CELEBRATIES !!! I loved it .

Best Bazilian Bikini Wax

She made me feel realy comfortable, she is also one of the J Sisters daugther, she was tought very well !!!

She is on the third floor and she takes walkins !!! She is the Best !!!

Best Brazilian Ever!

JOYCE IS A GODSEND!! I'm still in shock at how quick and basically painless (yes, I said painless) my waxing job was with Joyce! In about three minutes and six swipes she was done! I couldn't believe she had gotten everything but she had. If you go to J Sisters, DEFINITELY go to Joyce or one of the other sisters (all their names start with J). Last time I went to another woman there (don't remember her name, but not a J sister), and it took four times as long and hurt ten times as much! It wasn't horrible but I did walk out in pain. This time I wanted to give her a huge kiss and I walked out smiling. She's got some serious know-how. I could go everyday if that's all it takes.

• Cons: No elevator (4th floor)

i always use lulu because she's so thorough and clean. she's also very patient about uncomfortable positions. she always finds a way for you to relax. i always feel confident in a bathing suit because of lulu.
