Excellent Tour Experience

We found PhotoTrek Tours on the internet where we made our reservations prior to our arrival in New York City. This saved us lots of time. We feel there is no better way to explore a city than a walking tour. Our main criteria was a private walking tour, by a professional guide, that just included our family.We knew from previous experience that some public tour groups can be very large in size. This is not the case with PhotTrek Tours. The tour itself, was the four hour "Taste of the City" tour. The tour, and the tour guide, Marc, were top notch. We purchased a CD-Rom which included more than 120 quality photos of our family prominently placed in front of various New York City landmarks. The photos and tour were excellent. We could not have been happier.

We have visited cities all over the world. In each city we would say there is no better way than to explore the city with a private guide. On our visit to NY recently we used PhotoTrek Tours. We had the choice of a 2hour or 4 hour tour. We chose to do the comprehensive 4 hour tour. Our tour guide Marc was terrific, He took us to more than just the typical tourist locations. One of the most interesting parts of the tour was the "talking wall" at Grand Central Station. The tour , the photos we recieved and our tour guide were excellent. It is highly recommended for anyone visiting NYC

Wonderful Experience!!

This was our first visit to New York City. We chose a private walking tour with PhotoTrek Tours that we found on the internet. This turned out to be an excellent choice. We selected the 4 hour "Taste of The City" tour. The tour & photos were amazing. We now have several dozen photos of my husband and I together. We never, ever would have had so many wonderful photos on our own! Marc, the guide/photographer (who was wonderful) promised & delivered the photos the next day. The photos will certainly help us remember our trip to New York City forever. I know of no other tour that offers such a service. Well worth the money & time. You will see more in 2 or 4 hours than you will ever on your own. This was unique and a superb tour! Highly recommended.

Great Experience

My husband and I recently visited New York City from Florida. Although we had been there previously, we decided to take a tour this time. We saw things which we did not see on our own, such as the Brooklyn Bridge. The tour guide, Marc, was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed the four hours we spent with him and learned things about the city which we did not know. The tour itself was great but the icing on the cake was the pictures we received after the tour. It was a great way to remember our trip. We highly recommend this tour. It is excellent value for the money.

Phototrek Tours MADE Our Visit to NYC

as a frequent traveler, i have visited cities all over the world. even with careful planning, the best i hope for on visiting a new city is a superficial taste of what the town has to offer - dine in a few better-known restaurants, pass-through the touristy shopping districts, catch a few of the sights, etc. on my first visit to New York, however, i got to experience the city as if i was a native - all thanks to Phototrek Tours.

marcs enthusiasm and genuine love of the city is surpassed only by his intimate knowledge of the city's secrets... those impossible to discover for the casual tourist.

if you're planning a trip to New York City and want to see more of the city then the usual touristy stops, see beyond the places listed in your lonely planet guide book, open your visit with a Phototrek Tour.

Great way to see "the city"

I highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to New York! My wife and

I are new to "the city" and wanted to experience New York as if we had

friends there (which we didn't before we went). Marc, the tour guide

clearly loves his city and makes traveling there an exciting

adventure. Additionally, he's a great photographer.

He took us to the places you read about in the books; Times Square, Central

Park, the Brooklyn Bridge, etc, and then some unusual places that are his

personal favorites. We had such a great time touring, we almost forgot

we had pictures that were included in the package. Imagine how excited we

were when we had an album of awesome photos

delivered to our hotel! If I sound enthusiastic, I am. I could rave on, but you

should experience it yourself.

A Great Experience

I've visited New York many times before, but this tour gave me the opportunity to see the city in a new light. The guide's knowledge and expertise made the experience much more meaningful than it would have otherwise been. He obviously loves New York and showing the city to people through his eyes. The photos provided us with lasting memories that we could share with friends and family back home. This tour should be a required orientation for all visitors to New York.

excellent tour

Marc brought us to the most exciting places in new york to take pictures, places we would never know to go to on our own. We were always in each picture. He gave us a wealth of information about the city. Marc helped create special memories of our trip ... and remember them afterwards. Beautiful leather bound album of the best shots. Saved us loads of work. Very good value!!!
