social is great. bartenders are funny polite and friendly.the floors are different throughout and great for meeting people. table service and food great. i seriously cant fault this bar.

I frequent social often, and whenever I'm there, whether it be with some friends or co-workers, we are always treated with such politeness. I've noticed some new staff working there, and they're very personable and attentive. I always have a great time when I visit -- the food is tasty, the drinks are priced just right (especially since everything else seems to be costly), and the overall atmosphere is very laid-back and casual. There's none of this pretentiousness, as is the case in other places. And the music is great, too -- a mix of all sorts of stuff, which is nice. If you're looking for something different, and want to feel at home, then this is your place -- one will not be disappointed.

Great scene to meet people. I danced my a s s off, loved the scene and would totally do it again. Super close to our hotel which made it even better.

Pros: Great music, fun crowd, easy going all around

Your Bouncer/Doorman is the best! He knows everyone and makes you feel safe while you are there, but is sooo entertaining. You need to give him a raise and adversite him! Our server was wonderful, beautiful woman with dark hair, and really long eyelashes. We were a party of about 20 and she didn't miss a beat! The service and staff were wonderful! We will be back next time we are in NYC!

Cons: tiny bathroom :)

This place rocks! Stopped in w/ some college buddies for March madness, and this place was packed! What a crowd! Everyone was screaming and cheering! The bartenders were great, too, and the food was awesome. I'll be in every day until the finals:) See ya around Social.

would recoment this place to anyone heading down that way. funniest irish girl behind the bar . great service with a smile when we did sit to eat and good food and specials!!

Went in Monday night and they had a pretty good crowd. The upstairs was closed, but that's alright, because the main bar was enough. Couple colleagues joined me later on. They come here often, so I went off of their recommendation. I never knew, but they did Trivia Night mondays. This was the 1st time I heard or saw anything like this before, but I will admit it was interesting. The guy who was running this, was nice and had a good crowd contributing. I'll come back just for that! What I liked about this place was how laid-back it is, and the service is really good. Loved the sliders and the wings! The waitress working that night said there's an outdoor patio....definitely coming back to check that out when it warms up!

I was dragged to this bar on Saturday night and I couldn't believe how horrible it was. The bouncers are on a power trip and they prefer a female crowd. My guy friends were told the bar was packed when that was far from true. The drinks are weak and the crowd was very odd. I recommend you go elsewhere

Came in over the weekend with some out-of-town friends. We were somewhat on the early side (9p), so the bar wasn't as packed, and we were able to get a seat right away. The waitress was so polite and very attentive. Not once did we need to ask for more drinks, or extra napkins - she was right there every time. My friends and I had such a great time, that by the time we had to leave, we wanted to stay longer. We would have it they didn't have an early morning flight to catch the next day. We left around midnight, and the place was packed. Thanks Social for leaving a lasting impression on my friends' last night in the Big Apple.
