I went to Yuca Bar this past saturday night with four friends for a birthday dinner (mine). Although they wouldn't take reservations, we didn't have to wait long to be seated. The food was Terrific, and the margaritas were good and really, really strong. My friend had the sea bass, and I coveted it all night, b/c it was so yummy. I would get that next time, although the seared tuna special i had was tasty as well. Also, the hostess (whose name I don't know) was so, so nice - a big change from the snotfaced hostesses that have become de rigeur in the east village and LES. I'd definitely go here again!
Pros: Excellent food, strong drinks
Cons: Loud, crowded
