I recently bought a dress at Kelima and had a truly unique and remarkable experience that I felt I had to write about. Usually when I shop for a dress I am met with relatively impersonal not to mention pushy salespeople. Shopping at Kelima was anything but impersonal. The dresses speak for themselves but Kelima and her staff were so sweet and helpful and really understood what I was looking for. She did my alterations on site and made sure the dress fit perfectly. It felt amazing to wear something that seemed almost tailor made for me! Her wedding dresses are also breathtaking. I was I had discovered this store when I was looking for my wedding dress. I would definitely have wanted to be married in a Kelima original!
Pros: Beautiful dresses, on site tailor, helpful salespeople
Cons: I wish I lived downtown so I could go more often!

When I found Kelima it was such a relief! I was always searching for original, stylish well made dresses to wear that not everyone had and it was a panicked struggle. When I found her I felt like this was my personal secret designer and always had one of her pieces in my back pocket for that last minute event. I think I now have 5 of her pieces in my closet that I can wear to any occasion as well as a suit jacket that I wear with jeans in LA! I can't wait to get married so I can really work one of her specialties!

I love this designer. I had such a wonderful experience ordering a custom made Kelima wedding dress a few years ago. It was the most pleasant part of planning my wedding, and I was inundated with compliments on my big day. I have since purchased two beautiful Kelima evening dresses. These are beautiful, unique designs with incredible attention to detail. The fabrics are extraordinary, the designs are extremely well made, and the prices are excellent! I'd expect to pay twice as much for this quality and service. I'm so pleased to come across Kelima on this site.
