Don't expect what you reserve & don't forget anything in the car whilst being hurried out of it‎.

My husband and I had booked a car with Avis for our 4th of July weekend get-away. When my husband went to pick up the car we had ordered, they no longer had an intermediate Pontiac or similar car, so they gave him an SUV. We did not have to pay extra, but considering the extra fuel expenses, if anything, we should have gotten a discount. I suppose some might be excited about driving an SUV: not being able to see what is behind your car when backing up does have its draw-backs, however. We ended up driving into someone's brand new motor-cycle whilst backing up. Luckily we got the insurance-option. When we returned the car we left an electronic device in it whilst being hurried out of the car. It was nowhere to be found and the customer-service was terrible. All in all, if you're planning a trip, save yourself the unnecessary headaches and go elsewhere.
