To all that read these notes: I don't personally know Tabasum but the only thing I can tell everybody is that all the positive notes in this page are from close friends. What can close friends say? Go to www.webshots . com and type her name, or type torita100 (the other reviewer) or just type victoria malin (the other reviewer victoriam31). See all their pictures and parties and vacation together - Hei - I am not telling you that she is a bad doctor...

I was rushed through my consultation by Dr. Mir. She came in the room and the first thing she said was, I don't have much time. She was irrritated in manner from the beginning, and acted like she didn't want to spend time with me during the consultation. She didn't explain choices or options for me very well. However, I had heard good reviews about her, and decided to make an appointment with her. When I scheduled with the secretary, it turned out that there were no openings for the next few months for the day I wanted, (odd) and then Mir came out and together she and the secretary said "We'lll call you when we have an opening." I left and had even more questions than I had before I went to the consultation, since I was rushed through it. After speaking with Mir, I became more confused about my procedure than I was before I went to see her. She doesn't take email questions or calls asked through the secretary, and her disninterested tone compells me to not make another consult with her. I wouldn' t book a preccedure with her with as many doubts and questions I have in my head. Her loss, hopefully for her she is more personable and professional with other patients.

First, in response to the reviewer who complained that the office is always empty: Did it ever occur to you that Dr. Mir and her wonderful asst. Beverly schedule appointments in such a way as to ensure your privacy? Who wants to go to a crowded office for Botox and such? And who wants to have to wait to get in to see your doctor when you have a scheduled appointment? I love getting in to see the doctor at the time I scheduled, and I love the privacy of not running into dozens of people. Second, the Mir Skin products are better than ANYTHING I have ever tried, and believe me, I tried them all. The retinol with green tea takes years off after 2 days. The glycolic wash and creams are worth 4 times the price. I also love Dr. Mir's bedside manner, she is never snobbish or rushed, and takes special care of squeamish patients such as me. She is fabulous, her services and products are incredible, and the office manager Beverly always makes me feel welcome and special.

Pros: The products, serivie and atmosphere.

I go monthly now for maintenance. my skin has never looked this great. I love the way my skin looksits healthy, smooth and clear! MirSkin is a beautiful and relaxing place offering many services. Dr. Mir is extremely knowledgeable, warm, and caring. She is an amazing doctor that creates an experience that leaves you feeling and looking great. This is a special place of wellness and beauty that I highly recommend.

I have been a patient for 3 years. I fly to see Dr Mir from Germany yearly. She is the best cosmetic surgeon I have ever seen. She has helped me fix a number of problems that I had with doctors from London and Germany. Dr Mir is intelligent, talented and tailors the appoitment time you have with her with personal attention toward you. Reading some of the other reviews make me feel bad for some of the people Dr Mir has to deal with. People who want a "bargain" or "deal" on with their Doctors prices should get what they pay for.

Pros: personal attention, talented surgeon, excellent care

Every time I have been to MirSkin I have been the only customer there. The place always seems deserted and I can get an appointment whenever I wish - that slightly concerns me. The peels were ok - I haven't seen much of an improvement, but I didn't go many times. The biggest problem is the incredibly high price for peels. The peels were $200 ($50 more than most places), but last time they decided to just raise it to $250 WITHOUT ANY NOTICE. They didn't tell me about the increase until I had the peel and gave my credit card to pay - by then it was too late for me to decide if I was willing to pay $250 for the 10 minutes of time. This showed an incredible lack of respect, and the increase was probably because business is not doing so well.

Pros: easy to schedule

Cons: HIGH PRICE, always empty

Finally, I have found a physician who understood the needs of my skin, without resorting to conventional, run-of-the-mill dermatologic therapies which have given my skin so much grief. At MirSkin, you will get costumized attention which is so refreshing. MirSkin is truly the next wave in skin care. Dr. Mir is seriously dedicated, no-nonsense, knowledgable and confident, and her products are like NOTHING I have EVER tried on the market. I would recommend her to anyone, and I look forward to my first treatment.

Pros: cool soho atmosphere, fabulous service, top-notch products

I have been to see Dr. Mir in her SOHO office about 4 times now. Since I have started seeing her, my skin has never looked better. Although it seems strange for a 34 year-old woman to say that, I can honestly say that the texture and tone of my skin are better since I've begun to use Dr. Mir's products and get regular treatments than when I was in my 20s. I have tried the most expensive moisturizers and eye creams, but nothing has left my skin more supple and youthful looking than MirSkin products. I have bought some for my mom and my friends and they love them too. I cannot say enough about Dr. Mir and her "stuff." She has made me happy to look in the mirror once again.

Pros: amazing products, fantastic peels, great doctor
