Thank the world for RACHEL!!!!!! I have searched high and low for a stylist who listened and took what I said into view. She told me exactly what I needed and told me what would work and what wouldn't(and why it wouldn't). She is a very talented and sweet person who made me feel like what I wanted was the most important thing. I have very long hair and like it, the best thing was that she told me that she didn't want to change me just give me the vision I wanted to see! I loved Rachel and the salon is amazing!

This place destroyed my hair!

If i could give this place less than one star, I would.

I don't want anyone else to go through what I experienced here 2 years ago. I don't remember who I had the appointment with, but she completely destroyed my hair. I had long healthy blonde locks before I came to this place for a root touchup. She left bleach on my head for two hours, despite my concerns, and reassured me it would be fine. However, when she washed out my hair it started to fall off in clumps, starting at the root. I was having such severe breakage that she was too scared to blow dry my hair. I left with what i remained of my hair in a wet pony tail (I ended up having to wear clip-in extensions for months in order to look normal). Also, she blamed the accident on me and claimed that my hair was just not strong enough to take the bleach. I had been going blonde with no problems for 3 years.

Stay far away from this place!

Hair love.

So I was in the middle of my cut and I look over to see that my adorable hairstylist has a heart tattooed on her arm - and I knew I was loved.

I've been going to Arrojo for a few years and I've had a lot of great cuts. A haircut, it's important. I know it will grow back but suffering for three weeks with some bobcat on your head really sucks and so when you're in that chair, it better be good and quick and make you feel like a million bucks and change. I got that last time, from my girl Lee. A very precise and detail oriented cut that both followed my wishes and offered some smart directions. Lee also kept me in good conversation while figuring out how my hair would look best as it grew out, a good sign of expertise. She's one of this giant gang of super cute rascals who come with tats and a little healthy swagger. The sweet thing is that they take care of your scalp with mindblowing massages and forward-thinking cuts.. I heart them!

I've had a million cuts there and can also recommend a few others that did great jobs as well; Amanda, a vixen with super skills and Hunter, a cool guy's guy with an eye for detail and of course the talented Topher for kicks and giggles!

I've been coming to Arrojo for over a year now maybe 2yrs and finally decided to write a review. I decided to visit Arrojo looking for a great haircut and saw Nicole from Shear Genius on the website and decided to give her a try!

Best decision I've ever made hands down!! She's extremely detailed and knows exactly what she is doing. She's a cute Texan girl...who keeps it real (genuine)!! :)~

She's given me the best layered cut and always makes me feel like a VS model!

I've also referred a few friends who have all been more than satisfied.

P.S. For color you should see Mercedes who is also great!!

Fantastic Salon

I have been getting my hair done at Arrojo for a number of years now, and realized I had never written a well-deserved review for them. James does hands-down the best highlights I have ever had, east coast or west coast. He is essential to me and my hair. Chuck does my cuts, and he listens to exactly what I want, gives opinions when I ask for them, and then executes to perfection. And both men are friendly, laid back, and fun spend time with. The salon is cool, sleek and welcoming, as are all the employees. Once I found Arrojo--and James and Chuck--I have never even contemplated going anywhere else. I have only the highest praise for the entire salon.

Yanny and Amy are why I love Arrojo!

I have been going to Arrojo for almost three years now. Yanny is the master at the cut. She studies my hair so intently and approaches every move with a clear vision. I have walked out with so many different looks, always feeling like a million bucks.

As for my colorist, I love Amy. I get so many compliments on my color- always! I have medium blonde hair that I like to keep looking soft and natural. Not to mention I love sitting in her chair chatting it up.

These two artists are so sincere in really knowing what I want and knowing what is best for my hair.

I highly recommend!

Best Haircuts I've Ever Had (Yanny is the Best)

I first went to Arrojo about a year ago and I have been going back ever since.

My stylist is Yanny and she is the best stylist I have ever been to. She is attentive and professional and always gives me a haircut that is even better than the last. I get compliments on my hair even up to the day that I go back to get it cut. Yanny is amazing that way. She cuts my hair in a way that looks great even as it is growing out.

When I first went to her my hair was half-way down my back and she cut it chin length. I've kept going shorter and shorter each time, choosing styles I never would have tried in the past. I know no matter what I ask for Yanny will make me look awesome. I would recommend her to anyone.

Arrojo Studio itself has a great atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, there is someone greeting you or asking if you need anything. Every Arrojo employee I've ever interacted with has been friendly and helpful. The studio is clean and has a great minimalist design. But nothing beats their exceptional customer service, you definitely get your money's worth.

GREAT place for a haircut...especially with Yanny!

I first tried Arrojo three years ago (2006), due to What Not to Wear (I'll admit it). I was looking for a hair salon that would offer a friendly, warm environment and also great hair advice, which I thought I would get based on Nick's persona on the show.

When I called and said as much, they set me up with Yanny. She is AMAZING. What a great hair stylist! She offered great ideas and feedback on my hair...which is naturally curly and fine...and I've been going ever since! Yanny is very thoughtful about what will not only look good on you, but also how it will fit into your life. She focuses on making things easy and encouraging you to feature your hair's natural style.

I can't recommend Yanny enough - go see her today!

Rachel is a true artist, she really took the time to do exactly what I asked. She consulted about what my day to day styling was and what I wanted and didn't want, she is amazingly gifted at her craft aswell as being warm and friendly and very easy to be around! I loved everything about this salon, everyone was charming and stylish and I already booked my next appointment with a 10% off discount when you book ahead, awesome!
