Very pleased with York Carpet Cleaning’s services

I’m writing this review to York Carpet Cleaning Company to thank you for all your hard work. Your technician had come to clean our carpets, and remove pet stains. The last time we had called your company the representative had done a fine job at a reasonable price so we called for your services again. This time the representative did an extraordinary job cleaning the carpets. All stains were removed. The service was very professional, and courteous. I will call you again in the future!

Do Not Recommend

Based on my recent experience with York, I would not recommend them. When their technician came to pick up the rug, he tried charging me double what the salesman in the office had quoted me. After aruguing the price down to the agreed amount, they took they rug, and PROMISED it back in a week. They did not get it to me on the promised date, and took 3 more days to get me the rug. Its not the fact that it took 10 days to clean as much as they promised to get it back to me on two different days, and didnt deliver on either occasion. Both times they had no excuse, other than the rug was not dry. When I got the rug back , it appeared to be cleaner, but to be honest not much more than with a good vacuming, and def not more than if someone came to my apt and cleaned it for a 1/3 of the price. York maybe good for stained rugs or specialty rugs, but if you have a normal carpet and you are hoping to try and bring it back to life without much hasle, this is not the place.

I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the work that York Carpet Cleaning had done for me. I wasn't expecting the traffic areas to come as clen as they did, but the whole house looked like I just had new carpet put down. Not to mention the excellent job they did cleaning my drapes. York Carpet Cleaning did a great job on my couch and sofa! The technician was friendly, prompt, conscientious and thorough. He pretreated the stains and then worked hard to make them look like brand new. I’ve used this company several times and have always been pleased with the results. Thank you.

York Carpet did a superb job

I just bought my first home a beautiful condo but the previous owner had a dog for years. We tried to clean the carpet ourselves but it still smelled like dog. So I searched the internet for a carpet cleaner that could get the pet odor out. York Carpet Cleaning came up in my search. I called and got an estimate over the phone it was very reasonable and the technician wanted to wait until he could check the Capet to determine if I needed to spend as much money. I have to say they did a superb job, and I will be sure to call them again!

not recommended

first they show an hour after the window and didn't apologize, then they promise to remove all stains and restore color. When delivered the stains were still there and i sent the carpet back. they called and said - sorry we forgot to restore the color and it would take another week. So I paid $500 for an 8x12 rug its been 2 weeks and still no rug. i would not recommend these people for anything
