Horribe..Horrible...Horrible

I went this past Saturday and it was the absolute worst....The only thing I thought was decent was my melon ball...(I think that was the name of the drink)....The food was horrible....for the prices they do not give enough at all...Honestly its like the entrees they had made it look like they were trying to hard....I should have just went to Olive Garden..I rated 1 star but they didnt even deserve that....

Amazing food

I have to start off my saying our dinner here is one that will NEVER be forgotten! My friend and I went last fall and I still remember our servers.

She was like a ballerina in stealth mode--- AWESOME!

The food.. amazing. Every course had beautiful fresh flavors and defining textures.

classy dining expereince

I came here with a client outing. The company was fronting the bill, so the price wasn't an issue. I did glaze over the prices. Though it was expensive, it wasn't anything extraordinarily unreasonable. If you're looking for a fine dining experience, you have to pay the pretty penny!

great pizza - worse service and excuses in the city

the white truffle oil pizza is great and most of the other food is good. if you can deal with the worse service in the city and equally bad excuses, than this is your place....

they like to seat you at the bar for a drink before your table is ready, meanwhile there are plenty of empty tables, they are just trying to boost their bar sales.....

good luck finding the manager too!!! once you find him he is a great guy, but you must find him first.

if they are busy it may take for ever to get your bottle of wine because the manager is the only person that can go to the wine cellar to get your wine......make sure you order and get your wine before you order your food otherwise you will be eating before your wine even is brought to the table...

Great food and atmosphere.

I had a drink with my 2 friends at the bar before being seated. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We started with the carcofi salad and the burrata. We then had the branzino, vitello, and the tagliatelle. The entrees were cooked to perfection and the desserts were amazing. This is the restaurant to go to if you are looking for a great atmosphere and great Italian food.

Lovely!

A very nice, quite and romantic place to take your partner to for a special occasion. The Italian food was so Italian that I could close my eyes and imagine to be in Sicily or Milan. The service was excellent and the prices are reasonable. The whole dinner was an experience that I definitely will need to repeat. Two thumbs up for Bottega!!

A wonderful place to be - and the food is equal to the atmosphere

A bit out of the way, but worth it if you find yourself in that part of town. I am not part of the young and hip, but I like going to LaBottega. The atmosphere is nice and it is not too noisy. if the weather is good the outdoor area is to die for. And I love the food. The truffle oil pizza alone is worth the trip. Not like any other pizza I have ever had, it is round and has cheese but other wise has little in common with pizza It is light and delicate and amazing. The other dishes on the menu are all imaginative and each one comes out perfect.

I love tirimasu, but the tirimasu at La Bottega is a whole other story. the expected tastes in a light and airy dish.

The service is always friendly and attentive but never in the way.

A terric place to relax and eat wonderful food.

Great restaurant!

This was a great restaurant. Many times when visiting a big city, people tell you that "there are lots of good restaurants' but you always happen to find the worse. Not the case with La Bottega. The service was great and the food was unusually tasty. The crowd was lively and the location was a short distance from the subway.

Italian food with a difference

Interested in Italian food with a difference, then this is your place. The goat cheese pizza appetizer with truffle oil was unique and very tasty. Main courses have great presentation and taste. For a hotel restaurant this was one of the best I have been to. The bar also had a good selection of beer and other drinks.

Excellent dining, reasonable prices, comfortable atmosphere

The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The service was prompt and friendly and the ambience was excellent. I will definitely visit La Bottega again the next time I'm in NYC, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting authentic Italian dining in a great setting.
