I had a spa package with Sandra. It was excellent. Her massage was fabulous! She has an incredible touch. Then I had a body scrub which was like a second massage, and left my skin SUPER SOFT. And finally I had a facial. She's extremely knowledgeable and my skin looks amazing. Totally worth it! Definitely see Sandra.
Cons: She took longer than I expected which normally would be a pro, but it stressed me out cuz I had to be somehwere.

I've run the gamut of the best spas for facials in nyc from Allure and Bliss to Elizabeth Arden over the last 10 years. White Tea Spa is by far superior for facials. I haven't tried their other White Tea treatments yet but I would, knowing I am in good hands. Sandra is a skin expert and more importantly, she treats her clients with great care and focused personal attention. Sandra spent the entire time working on my skin, in contrast to other spas that leave a mask on you for 10-15 minutes and disappear. Also, she explains the products and the tools she is using which made me feel even calmer. In addition to the wonderful spa experience, what is most outstanding to me is I can feel the difference in my facial skin weeks later. My usually irritated and acne-prone skin is clear and the texture is smoother than I've ever felt. I think the exfoliating toner she recommended for after care treatment is really helping me as well. How amazing my skin looks and feels weeks later is what prompted me to write this review. Finally, the White Tea Spa itself is beautifully decorated with warm tones, candles, drapery, dim lighting, and gorgeous furniture. I highly recommend the White Tea experience, especially if you need an excellent facial.
Pros: best facial; ambience; Sandra
Cons: building stairway; just increased prices

I was recommended to go to White Tea Spa by a friend, and when I called them, I wasn't sure which one of their treatments was appropriate for me. A very nice lady helped me making the decision and she was absolutely right when she said I was going to be very happy with the results. I had Sandra doing the facial and the full body massage and the hours went by without even noticing. Sandra has incredible skills and she is very knowledgeable on the different processes that she applies and she was explaining to me one by one what she was doing and making me feel very relaxed. The atmosphere of the place is really smoothing and you get into a very relaxed state of mind. After a few hours in that surrounding I came out "walking on air" and feeling absolutely great. I'm glad I found a spa that I can go on a regular basis.
Pros: great location, easy to access by car, good parking
Cons: The main entrance is a little deceiving

I recently visited White Tea Spa for a couples massage. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, greeting us with signature tea and soothing music as we awaited our room. The ambiance was very beautiful and calming with flowing drapery, soft candlelight, and continuous hospitality. The actual massage was quite lovely, we were both very satisfied after our hour long full body massage. We left feeling very relaxed and looking forward to returning. We have recommended the spa to all of our friends and plan on going back and trying out other services.

went for the "high tea" spa package. it was wonderful. They book all of your time in one room with a single aesthetician, which was nice. was greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff-member, who showed me to the locker room. Every inch of the place is dimly lit with glowing candles and relaxing music. There were many offers of water, tea, etc. Although the place is small, I was the only one there and was quite comfortable. The massage was incredible - one of the best I've ever had - the aesthetician really worked hard on all of my knots and tension. By the time I was done, i was mush on the table. After my package, the staff had set out an English tea for me, complete with crumpets and clotted cream. Also, some fabulous green and white tea. I was also given a "good-bag" of product samples and tea on my way out. Small and cozy, without some of the extra amenities of the uber-spas (no sauna, steam room, etc.), but worth every penny. I highly recommend.
Pros: single room for multiple treatments, wonderful staff, relaxing atmosphere.
Cons: lacking some of the amenities of larger spas.

Looking for an escape in the middle of Manhattan? Forget the overpriced swanky spas that don't deliver. This place is so quaint and personable, you'll want to spend a whole day there. Sandra is a doll and they serve some of the best tea and cookies I've ever had. The facial left me glowing for weeks and I'm dying to go back.

I had very enjoyable and relaxing facial at the White Tea Spa. What a nice and cozy spa. Sandra, the aesthetician, was very knowledgeable with soothing voice and magic touch, so even the extraction felt good. You get hands, arms and shoulder massage while the mask is on, which is wonderful. In some spas the aesthetician applies the mask and leaves the room for 10-15 min. My skin was glowing and still is two weeks after the treatment. Sandra, thank you very much.

White Tea Spa has been my best spa experience as of yet. I have found the staff there to be warm and welcoming. I go there for Brazilian waxes and actually have fun through out the process (which is a true testament to the spa). The decor is inviting and the staff are lovely. I have found that it is conveniently located to the subway and very close to Union Square. I have recommended the White Tea Spa to everyone I know and felt that I should spread the wealth online!

I have been getting Brazilian bikini waxes every month from Sandra for almost a year now. I started getting brazilian waxes in 2005 and this is by far the best expirence I have ever had. Not only is the staff fun, the environment is clean and welcoming, and the services are amazing. I have recommended White Tea Spa to many of my friends, who have all come back to me with the same rave reviews. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Pros: comfortable environment, great services
Cons: none

I was a customer at Simply Spa, and was a bit suspicious when they changed their management and their name. Fortunately I had a great massage with Sandra. She's sweet, down to earth, and very talented!
