I've been coming to Tribeca Soho Animal Hospital for last five years and I haven’t really had a bad experience there besides occasional long wait for the visit. Dr. Martel had been my doctor for a while and after he left I started seeing dr. Lee. Both doctors were always very pleasant and professional and I can’t say anything bad about them. I was very sad to loose dr. Martel as Sandy’s vet, but dr. Lee happened to be as great. I love most of the staff I dealt with, they always seam very compassionate and carrying. I would definitely recommend the hospital to anyone.

Pros: Professional and carying staff

Cons: None

Please, if you love your pet at all, RUN from this place. I know for a FACT that they terribly abuse the animals they care for overnight. DO NOT GO HERE.

Pros: none

Cons: Sadists murderers sick and cruel people

I've been taking our kitties to this vet group since about 2003 and have always found the doctors to be caring and knowledgeable. When I first went there, our two beloved old cats were reaching the end of their very long lives and had all kinds of health issues. The Tribeca SoHo docs helped them to be more comfortable in those final years, and when the end came for both (ages 17 and 20, respectively), they could not have shown more compassion. There was nothing "routine" about their treatment of us or our cats. Now we have two young kitties, and they helped both through some early digestive problems. Although we now live in Brooklyn, I'm finding it hard to switch vets because of the level of trust I've built up with Tribeca SoHo Animal Hospital. Caveats: 1. It's often very busy in the waiting room, and you might be cooling your heels for a while. 2. Fees are on the high side, but that's probably true throughout the metro area. 3. On rare occasions the front-desk staff has been a bit brusque with me and not entirely accommodating. But I'd still recommend this vet group to anyone.

Pros: Competence and professionalism of doctors

Cons: sometimes long waits

Very friendly staff that adored my beloved frenchie, Boris. They provided great customer service. I was so worried about my baby. He went into shaking bouts and would not eat. I didn't know what was wrong with him, but the people here put me at ease. The Dr. Martel took his time to talk to me and explained his condition. They were so concerned that they wanted to keep him in the hospital to observe him and to run some tests. When I went to pick him up he was back to his normal self - shaking his butt and all! His problem resolved quickly with medication dispensed directly from the hospital and I am very happy with the results. The vet also followed up with me the next day with laboratory results. I would highly recommend this place to anyone with a pet!!

Pros: Great staff, great hours and convenient location
