NYPT is a great place to work-out and my trainer Jared is fantastic. When I have no enthusiasim for working out he pushes me to succeed. He creates different work outs each session to keep me interested. THe facility is bright, clean and in a great location, and they play the best "old-school rap" around. I would definitly recommend Jared and NYPT to anyone!

The new NYPT facility is great. Working out with Jared Rappoport has made a huge difference in my physical fitness. In addition to tailoring workouts to my personal goals, he also put together an optimal nutrition plan for me to build muscle. Jared is pretty laid-back but isn't shy about really pushing you through your workouts. For anyone new to NYPT, I would recommend him. Whether you're looking to build muscle or just get back in shape he is a great trainer and NYPT is the best place to get it done.

I can't rave enough about NYPT, especially with their new beautiful studio. After close to 5 years training with Michael, I still look forward to seeing him 3 days each week. Not only does he encourage me, but he makes it fun. I've seen the way Michael and his staff care about clients and make substantial differences in our lives. NYPT is created so each person feels special. It's very down to earth and respectful of each person's needs - no matter their age, athleticism, or fitness level. 5 years ago I never would have believed that I'd have stuck with this and feel so much better for having done so.
Pros: Personalized approach, not intimidating, not your usual gym atmosphere

NYPT is a great place to train. I have been training here for almost 3 years and love it. The new location is a state of the art facility. I definitely recommend NYPT!

I have been working out at NYPT for about a month now, and everyone there is really cool. I was assigned a particular trainer, Jared Rappoport, whose well rounded approach is not strictly limited to challenging me with varied targeted workouts, but has also been a tremendous benefit when it comes to advising me on my diet plan. Joining this gym has helped get my physical fitness to the next level, and I would highly recommend anyone considering taking the next step to give them a call. Oh, did I mention that they play great music!!!

I am one of those people who can't push themselves on their own. Working with Mike has made all the difference. He is innovative, knowledgeable, friendly and pushes me just enough. The space is clean, the people are nice, the trainers are experienced. What more could you want? For the first time in my life, I look forward to my workout! Thank you NYPT.

NYPT is my first experience with a personal trainer and I love it. I have had 6 weeks of training with Jared and it has mad such a difference. He also mapped out a nutritional plan for me, now I look and feel so much better. I have lost weight and inches and have had fun doing it. One of the great things about NYPT is that you don't pay for personal training sessions on top of a gym membership like you would somewhere else. Also they are extremely flexible, for example I wanted to come in consistently, 3x a week but couldn't afford one-hour sessions at that level of frequency but they offer 1/2 hour high-intensity sessions and that has worked out wonderfully. Jared packs in a great work out in that short time. The facilities are also nice and it's never crowded like other membership gyms. If you are considering hiring a personal trainer, I highly recommend setting up an initial appointment to see what they are about and what they could do for you.
Pros: Flexibility, facilities, Jared!
