Don't be fooled by the 5 star rating you see at the top of this page. In the past year, 15 people have reviewed Kittichai. The average rating for these reviews turns out to be 2.2 stars. My boyfriend and I took another couple from out of town to Kittichai for dinner and we were all disappointed. Despite having reservations we waited an inordinate amount of time for our table. Once seated, we ordered several appetizers and entrees and hated most of them. We go to Thai restaurants all the time and this was simply the worst. We do not mind expensive prices for good food, but Kittichai isn't worth it. It is way overpriced for what it is. The decor is beautiful, but in NYC you can find nice decor and "scenes" in tons of other places that have better food.
Pros: decor, cool drinks
