A Great Intro to Real New York
5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

02/02/2005 Posted by hblakeway

I am in town visiting a local NY friend, and asked to see the "Real" New York. Skip the tourist traps. Lets go someplace great. She brought me to Bua. It's fantastic! The candlelight on exposed brick decor, great music, and friendly bartenders that nearly have your drink poured by the time you finish your request all add up to a great experience.

Pros: Great Service, Warm Atmosphere, Fun Crowd

Editor's Review

Not your typical Irish pub ("bua" means "victory" in Gaelic), this low-key, exposed brick bar captures the neighborhood with a polished, romantic appeal.  See the full editorial review.
