FIESTA TIME!

We went for a party and I dont remember that much! How do your spell T E Q U I L A! The frozen margaritas are great and the atmosphere a loud party. The fajita trio - steak,chicken and shrimp are some of the best I have ever had. Also save some room for the tres leches for dessert. We wuill be back soon! Ole!

HORRENDOUS margaritas

Loud music forces everyone to scream in order to converse, seem to cater to an under-35 loud crowd who drink way too much and then start shouting at the top of their voices, seemed AC was broken as it was very warm inside on the night I was there and we were not allowed to sit outside, waiter brought the wrong margaritas at first then brought the WORST NASTY-TASTING strawberry margaritas I ever have had in 50 years! $15 each down the drain! Two sips of mine and I still am trying to get the bitterness out of my mouth after an hour. First visit and DEFINITELY the last. I hate feeling like this when I go to a restaurant/bar. Based on what I experienced, they should be ashamed to open their doors until they get their act together.

LOVE IT!

The place is hella fun, the drinks are great, and doesn't hurt your wallet. Highly recommend it!

Bland, expensive

Went to Maracas on Cinco de Mayo because Benny's was full. The wait wasn't terrible and the staff was really nice - from the host to the waitress to the manager to the bus boy. However, this place just doesn't TASTE good and it's expensive! The margaritas are $15 for 23 oz and don't have much flavor to them. I ordered lime and it had no zip, my friend ordered pear and it was pink. The food tasted like the Mexican I can make in my kitchen from a box. It was there, it was fine, but it really wasn't great. Something is missing. The bill was far too high for how mediocre the food was. Almost $40 per person for a drink and a plate of dull Mexican food. Skip this place!

This is MARACAS- Not The Four Seasons!

If you want inexpensive GOOD tasting dinner and bargain drinks- COME HERE!

This cute little restaurant serves it up with flair... a littlle much? maybe -but if the decor reminds you of the inside of a pinata then have a couple drink specials.. the cleverly hidden liquor taste will have you repeating "can i have one more?"- that is IF your waiter hasnt already asked you! But believe me, when you get up to go relieve yourself- the gravity will remind you that , yes, YOU HAVE HAD LIBATIONS TODAY!

The waiters have always been soo fun and friendly.

It's a mom and pop cute little dive! Don't come here with attitude! PLEASE CHECK THAT AT THE DOOR. I hate when snotty customers give the waiters a hard time... due to their assumptions of where they are! This place is for good times so ...take the stick out from where it is, relax, let your hair down, grab a frozen margarita, be kind to your waiters (remember- they handle your food), leave your worries and troubles at the door and HAVE A FRIGGIN GOOD TIME!

(sorry- im a fellow waiter at a local restaurant and love this place-could ya tell?) These kids, attractive and such, work for their tips so... if you cant tip AT LEAST %15 - stay home!

Come by- have a good time, tip well, and RELAX!!! Sleep it off, repeat every other day!

Great Party Place!

This is my new favorite place! I went here for the first time this past Saturday and had a blast. It was college night and we got $3 margaritas ON A SATURDAY! I had the guacamole (that our server made fresh) and the stuffed chicken which were both fantastic. Our server was Jeff, I think that was his name. I could be wrong I had a lot of margaritas. Everything from the staff to the decor was really upbeat and fun. They also do something special if it's your birthday. I won't ruin the surprise, but let's just say I am so coming here for my birthday (and their all you can drink brunch). HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS PLACE SOONER? YO AMO MARACAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

horrible service!

I went there for their brunch this weekend. The service was horrible. We rarely saw our waitress. We had to ask for her multiple times. She kept forgetting to bring stuff to us and messed up our orders. After we got our bill, it took her 20 minutes to come pick it up. She did not come back with the bill for another 30 minutes and we had to get up and find her. When we received our completed bill, they chargerd every meal on the wrong credit cards. Even though we specifically stated and wrote which meal goes to which card. We will never be dining at this place again and do not recommend it to anyone. Its a shame that there is a 20% gratuity added to the bill, because the service does not deserve it

Party Time!

Went to Maracas to celebrate a friend's birthday. Everyone had a blast. The food was good and the drinks were very good. Our waiter was also excellent. Will definitely retun.

Tiny portions, horrible food

Went here for lunch on a Sunday. First of all we had no utensils and we actually had to get up and get the waiters attention for him to finally bring us forks. The portions are so small that I could have finished it in 1 bite. That would be the case if I actually ate the food. I took one bite and that was it for me. The popcorn shrimp was disgusting! As if they reheated frozen food. The tiny burgers had nasty meat. It was salty and had a musky taste. The margarita was okay, but it was so small. I will never ever go back to this place...stay away!!

Great Restaurant

I don't understand the need for bashing a place so badly. Take it from me: the food's good, the prices are far beyond reasonable, the staff is extremely friendly and very compitent, the margaritas are delicious, and the atmosphere is so much fun.

It's very unfortunate that most reviewers post their opinions only when they have an unenjoyable experience.

In my opinion, Maracas (and other great restaurants) can only become better by losing the bickering customers.
