Located just two blocks from Grand Central Station this hotel makes for a perfect place to rest your head after a long day touring the city. The staff was extremely helpful in room accomodations (at first they placed us in a smoking room when we had requestede non - when we pointed out the error the next day they were quick to apologize and change our room). The doorman offered excellent service in retreiving luggage and cabs (and then fitting all our luggage in the cab!!) They have a complimentary wine hour each night and they were certain to keep our glasses full. In the lobby there are three computers w/ internet access that guests may use free of charge. They also place complimentary apples in the lobby - YUM! The hotel offers a great restaurant and bar w/ delicious drinks and very friendly stafff (the restaurant menu looked good -although room service a bit on the spendy side). From the hotel you can easily walk to Times Square where you are certain to find many eateries and lots of entertainment. I would definitely stay at 70 Park Avenue again!

Formerly the Doral Park Avenue, this recently renovated midtown hotel has 205 guest rooms, all equipped with CD/DVD players and 42-inch flat-screen televisions with surround sound. Perks include a variety of pillows from which to choose and evening wine receptions. The hotel has a library, 1,200 square feet of meeting and banquet facilities, and is affiliated with a nearby gym. Plus, you won't have to leave Fluffy home alone; this place is pet-friendly.
