Pain free for 1 year and counting!

I began seeing Dr. Shoshany in July 2008 because of a herniated disc between L5 and S1 that left me unable to do any of the physical activity that I loved let alone normal activity (like sleeping). I tried physical therapy, accupucture, shots...you name it. Then I read about spinal decompression and decided to give it a try. I did the treatment every day for one month, plus physical therapy. Dr. Shoshany also gave me some vitamins and Omega 3 oils to help the healing along. I did not feel better immediately after the treatment which I think is important to mention. Do not get discouraged! You have to give your body time to heal. Within a few months I was pain free and have been ever since! Now I just maintain my back with the occassional adjustment and/or massage and of course core exercise. Dr. Shoshany and his staff did whatever it took to make sure I felt better. I referred several of my friends to this office and they all loved it too. Dr. Shoshany is amazing!

excellent care

I have been seeing Dr. S for a few years since he used to be on Downing Street. I love his new office space with all of the new state of the art equipment. I tried going to a chiropractor in my neighborhood but they did not have the equipment that Dr. S has. Needless to say I return to see him shortly. I love the flexibility that you have. I usually just call up and ask if I can come in and they take me. I have referred him to my co-workers as well. His staff is pleasant and helpful as well. Dr. S makes every patient feel like they are this only ones. I wouldn't go to any one else for my chronic back pain.

Dr. Sho changed my life!

I was on the brink of spinal surgery to fuse two disks in my neck C 4/5, 5/6. I had been in pain for nearly two years taking anti-inflammatories, muscle relaxers and opiate pain relievers. After meeting with a surgeon, who was ready to schedule my fusion, I decided to do do a search and found Dr. Shoshany. his website and the patient reviews for spinal decompression encouraged me to give it a try. I am so glad I did. After the full round of decompression treatments, I can honestly say that surgery is no longer in my future. Now my pain is nearly gone and I can work to strengthen the supporting muscles so that the pain can be gone forever. I KNOW Dr. Sho is responsible for that and I am forever grateful. Before you have surgery, TRY THIS FIRST!!! You'll be glad you did.

All Aboard the "Lose Your Pain Express"!

After taking a tumble and, landing flat on my back, the

ensuing pain let me know I was in big trouble. After going through a series of X rays, MRI's, and even a Discogram (very uncomfortable), I was told by one of the best neurosurgeons in Manhattan, that I was definitely going to need expensive, invasive, bone grafting spinal surgery - There was going to be no way around it.

Then I found out about Dr. Shoshany, went to his very informative website, and decided to take a chance. I set up an appointment with him through his friendly staff and, little did I know it, I was already on my way to getting my life back! . When I walked in, I could hardly bend over, or lift my feet off the ground. I was expertly evaluated and my treatment started- on my very first visit! The office is beautiful, filled with state of the art equipment, that he and his staff of experts know how to use. Each session was made fun by his "family" of truly caring professionals. After going though a number of spinal decompressions on the comfortable DRX 9000, along with intense physical therapy, I'm as good as new. That "chance" turned out to be the "BEST" decision I have ever made! So if you are in pain, look no further, a visit to Dr. Shoshany is the first step on your road to recovery!

He fixed my tennis elbow!!!

I had a bad case of tennis elbow before my visit to Dr. Shoshany's office. He used a technic called GRASTON to relieve the horrible discomfort in my elbow and shoulder. My recovery was so fast. I was almost back to 100% by the next day. I read many articles about tennis elbow and none suggested going to see a Chiropractor, until my good friend suggested it. He highly recommended Dr. Shoshany and now I'm doing the same to you. There is no reason to suffer from this pain. GO SEE DR. STEVEN SHOSHANY!!! He's just that good!!!!

Great chiropractor and physical therapist

I've gotten tension headaches on a regular basis for as long as I can remember and recently they became so troublesome, I decided to try Dr. Shoshany's office. Even though he came highly recommended by a colleague, I was bit skeptical because I'd seen a chiropractor for the same symptoms a few years ago and it didn't seem to help much at all. I've now been seeing Dr. Shoshany for chiropractic exams and Monica for physical therapy once weekly for a few months. They're both wonderful and very much invested in my health. My headaches have become fewer and further between and I'm much more comfortable than I had been. I still get headaches (especially when I'm under a lot of stress), but another great thing about their office is that they seem to be able to fit me in for an appointment anytime I call. The entire staff is warm and friendly, and Dr. Shoshany and Monica are the best. I can't say enough about how happy I am that I found them.

Dr. Shoshany provides excellent chiropractic care

I was a mess when I walked into Dr. Shoshany's practice; extreme neck pain, locked upper back, and nightly headaches that made me take lots of obuprofen to get to sleep. It took time, but Dr. Shoshany patiently cared for my problems and now a year later my headaches are gone and I have relief from constant pain. Dr. Shoshany is very professional and provides excellent chiropractic care. I highly recommend him.

Best at Chiropractic Care

I have never been to a chiropractor before so at first I was a little skeptical and just a bit fearful. But, I can tell you that ever since I have been going to Living Well Medical, I have never felt better! Dr. Shoshany and his team are excellent. Everyone is so courteous and professional. Dr. Weisman is a real gem! I can now exercise without being in extreme pain. It has really made a difference.

A LIFE CHANGER! Read this if you've been told "THERE'S NOTHING WE CAN DO FOR YOU"

I'm 38. At 14 I was diagnosed with structural kyphosis (a hunched upper back). Bracing, I was told, was the only non-surgical form of treatment for "structural" - as opposed to "postural" - kyphosis. (Postural has the potential to reverse itself with chiropractic and physical therapy.) I never wore the brace that was prescribed. But I recently began an intense stretching program that relived an enormous level of upper back strain and I decided to compliment this regimen with chiropractic sessions. I was prompted by a friend who told me of remarkable progress he made with DR Shoshani regarding a similar condition.

1ST - The Doc took a look at me and immediately concluded I was misdiagnosed - he believed my kyphosis was of the "postural" (i.e. treatable) type.

2ND - He conducted an instant digital xray that corroborated his thoughts and showed me CLEARLY why my kyphosis appears to be postural.

THEN, He began making adjustments on my back......

On day 1 I must have walked away 1/2 inch taller and 10x more comfortable in my own body! I'm several weeks in now and there continues to be noticeable improvement in my posture and in my body-comfort level - hopefully with more of the same to follow.

Finally, and very importantly, Shoshani combines his expertise with a top-tier staff trained in various fields like massage and physical therapy so it's really a "one stop shop" of healing with a personable, knowledgeable, true team of pros!
