Went to epstein's with about 10 friends. We all had a little something to eat and some drinks. Burger was great drinks were pretty cheap, and a great place to people watch. awesome spot to pregame before big night out.

Awesome LES bar

This is an awesome, chill vibe. Perfect location perfect scene. The service is quick and good just like the food, especially the burgers! Me and my friend stop in for happy hour whenever we are the neighborhood. Its on the corner and have doors that open along the sidewalk for outdoor eating which is great on nice days.

Epstein?s offers the best happy hour in town. Buy one beer full price and get the rest of your beers for full price. I wouldn?t take my worst enemy to this place. The only way you can enjoy a place like Epstein?s is if you drink at a real bar beforehand & go their trashed. Even then your one sober buddy might kick you in the junk for picking such a poor excuse for a place where you go to drink away your problems. Go there if you are trying not to get "some" or looking for a lame night! Also the night we went I think there was a Star Wars intervention going on.

Food is Garbage! Drinks are watered down! Bar tenders and Waitresses are lazy. I am pretty sure I saw the manager steal someones wallet.

people watching - good/quick food

I stopped at this corner bar last sunday with some friends to grab a quick lunch. The bar has outside seating and the windows open to the street. We sat outside b/c it was nice, and ended up staying for 3 hours and having a bunch of drinks!! It was such a good atmosphere for just hanging out and people watching for a sunday afternoon... The food was good and so were the Bloody Mary's... Our afternoon changed from just a quick lunch to a fun time.. Our bill was also veryyyy reasonable, which is always nice. We will be back soon!

• Pros: outdoor seating is great to just hang out .. good specials too!

Great Burger.. good scene

You cannot beat the prices and the food is great.. The outdoor cafe is one of the best people watching spots in the city and the scene is always descent.. try the burger and the wings.. we always stop by for drinks before we go out to start the night

Best Bartenders, super cheap food

I moved to the neighborhood about two years ago and had been on a search for the perfect "local," you know, where everybody knows your name, and their always glad you came? Too many places in the LES try sooo hard to have a scene. Epstein's looks a first glance a bit sports bar-ish for my taste, but half the time after the games are over they rock skate videos on the big screen, or late night I've even been able to watch Jon Stewart! The bartenders are all really fun people, the drinks aren't fancy, but they do the trick. The food is great, consitent, and so cheap compared to anywhere else in Manhattan. I can always count on this place to start or end my night, or to bring all my friends (from all walks of life) to as my default location. Search is over, LOCAL has been found. Make it your local too...you will not regret it.

• Pros: Well poured drinks, tasty food, fun bartenders...cute waitresses ; )
• Cons: Jukebox not always working

friday happy hour rocks

i went to epstein's on a friday the place was hopping the outside cafe was packed the bar was full and the jukebox was kicking out great tunes. me and my friends finallly got a table and had the burgers and wings alll excellent. the service was a little slow but who cares at the prices they have it's worth the wait.
