Miguel is one of the best colorists in the city! And, he's a great host too. Get a mani/pedi, get your brows threaded, and get a massage or facial...all while you come in for your touch-up. And Prada is adorable!

I have been following Isaac since 2004 and love his new location at Miguel Lopez Salon. When I moved to NYC 4 years ago, I was terrified to let a new stylist touch my short 'do. I found Isaac through a friend, and I haven't let another person touch my hair since my first appointment with him. He always listens to what I want first, and then takes my idea to the next level with his creative vision and personal style. Isaac understands the dynamic possibilities of short hair and always gives me a personalized piece of art, never just a cut and color. I get compliments on my hair all through the day, everyday. Who wouldn't love that?

Pros: Complimentary coffee, tea, bottled water, and a cute puppy to pet!

This salon just hired the most amazing colorist in New York, Isaac! I have been a loyal customer of Isaac for over 4 years and wouldn't dream of letting anyone else touch my perfectly colored blonde locks. For years, I have searched for a colorist that was able to transform my naturally brunette hair into a natural looking blonde. I even shelled out $700 for a celebrity colorist and was not nearly as pleased as what Isaac was able to do. He even gives fabulous haircuts. If you are having a coloring crisis or even just in need of a great new style...look no further than Isaac!!

I was at the Miguel Lopez Salon today - my wife introduced me to Isaak and since then, no one else but Isaak cuts my hair - he is brilliant! And most importantly my wife loves it! The atmosphere is great, very relaxed, cool, SOHO feel. The service is absolutely incredible. The first time I was there it was freezing and within 2 minutes I had a hot cup of tea. Today once again first question - can I get you something to drink and seconds later it was in my hand. Everyone was so gracious, warm and friendly. But, let me tell you about Isaak, great guy, great conversationalist. If you are going to spend an hour getting your hair cut its great to spend the time with a worldly humorous down to earth guy. He is very cool, last year he was at the London Styling convention and came back with all the latest trends, colors and styles - he is always on the cutting edge. So in a word - AWESOME! Definitely go see Isaak at the Miguel Lopez Salon.

Pros: Isaak's coloring is off the hook, my wife's hair looks incredible and she is on camera all the time!

Cons: That more people don't know about this place - it rocks!

I have been a loyal client to Miguel Lopez (stylist extraorinaire) for over 13 years which is a testament to his talent and level of service. He has consistently provided outstanding service (and I mean S-E-R-V-I-C-E) and bends over backward to make me happy. Not an easy task. I have long, VERY THICK, VERY GRAY hair and it takes an expert colorist and stylist to make me happy. My hair has always been my signature and quite honestly, I'm fussy. Somehow, Miguel always manages to make me feel like a transformed woman. I call it my therapy. I go every week for a blowout and come out feeling like the Queen of Sheeba. Because Miguel's standard is so high, his staff has to meet the same standard. Will, the Owner/Manager is always accomodating (to everyone, not just the Queen of Sheeba). He makes me feel like I'm the most important client and wants me to be happy the minute I enter the salon. I'm offered coffee, bottled water and on a lucky day, I walk out with his home-cooked Spanish rice. This is of course only offered to clients with a13 year history. Let me tell you, Will can cook. The salon has a very luxurious "Old World" look , making one feel like they've stepped back in time. There's a gorgeous chandelier, fluffy pillows that decorate the wall and brilliantly colored draperies that give the salon an even more dramatic effect. The staff is friendly, helpful and highly efficient. If you want to look like a million bucks, be pampered from head to toe, the Miguel Lopez Salon is a MUST. I promise, you will not be disappointed. Ms. "Sold on Miguel"

i recently had a haircut and partial highlight at this salon with Isaac... he is new to Miguel Lopez, but i had seen him once at his former salon. he is a pro!! when normally the same treatment takes over 3 hours, i was out in less than 2 hours happy as can be and looking fabulous. definitely see isaac, he is so nice and he's great at what he does.

I made an appointment with Gaetano because my friend recommended him. She has been going to him for some time now and I always love the way her hair looks. Gaetano listened to my requests and even suggested that I do some more layering and highligthts around the bangs and face. I am a little picky with my hair so I was cautious at first. Let me just tell you that my hair has never looked this good.. The salon has a great vibe and is pretty and decorative. The staff are friendly and helpful. I will be back!

I traveled to NYC on business and desperately needed a cut before presenting myself before several client meetings. Only by chance, I picked Miguel Lopez and had Isak as my stylist. In my mind, cuts are a dime a dozen. But Isak's attention to detail and his creative vision resulted in masterpiece I have not remotely seen in my Hollywood stomping ground. When in a pinch, or if you need a lift from the routine, readers should certainly consider giving Isak a call. For myself, I can promise that the next visit to NYC will include a trip to see Isak.

I just went to this salon for the first time today and I walked out a very happy customer. I have been getting my hair cut, colored and highlighted by Issac for about 2 years in my neighborhood. Recently, he switched to this salon and I followed. He asks enough questions to know what you want in terms of a color and/or cut. He is very pleasant to talk to. I never feel rushed when I am with him and he takes the time to make the customer happy. I always get compliments on my hair cut and color so I will follow him wherever he goes. However, the salon is very nice, extremely comfortable and inviting so I hope he stays there! Do not hesitate going to this salon and be sure to request Issac. A big plus is that you can get manicures/pedicures/ massages at this salon. That's great for me because you can save time and get everything done in one place. I will try some salon services during my next visit!

Pros: Pretty salon, comfortable seating, friendly staff (Hi Prada) and ISSAC!

Bravo on the hiring of Isak. I'm an old client of his dating back to when he was in Grammercy Park. I follow him wherever he goes because he's the only one who can manage my hair. He's got the magic touch. My colored hair retains its shine, and my uncooperative locks are tamed by his touch. The highlights aren't garish and make my hair look shiny and healthy. I highly recommend a visit to Isak. In general, it's a friendly place and very comfortable. The women who wash your hair give you a great scalp massage too. Check it out!!
