My dog LOVES this place. He's 12 and sorta mean -- ok, I'll be honest, he starts fights in Central Park all the time. But he's a changed canine since going to Running Paws. Now, he's a lover, not a fighter. He drags me an entire block to get there. The staff is honest and so nice. Once, my dog had a scratch on his ear (from the park) and they called to let me know about it. I took him to Biscuits and Bath before and it was the biggest dump. He crapped blod because they deprived him of water on a 90-degree day.

Running Paws is an amazing place! The staff is honest, down to earth and great with all the dogs! Our dog is in love with with Matt! He knows all the little quirks our dog has and has given us great advice on how to handle him in our apartment. This is a well run business and you can tell they all love their jobs. We have seen great improvment in our dogs attitude toward people and other dogs! I would recommend Running Paws to everyone! Can't beat their services!

Pros: Clean

Cons: Only one location

I started with Running Paws in 2004 and have been extremely happy with their service. They are extremely professional and I feel confident knowing someone will always get back to me very quickly. My dog loves her runner, and since she's been with Running Paws she has lost 7 pounds. I'm constantly impressed with their professionalism- both in the office and from the runners my dog has had. I completely trust them with my baby and I highly reccommend them to anyone.

Ever see the dog walkers with 30 dogs at one time? Do you really think the dogs are enjoying themselves? Running Paws dog-runners give attention to the one or two dogs they have - the runners devote themselves to that one dog - the dogs seem happier running, especially if they don't have to compete with 30 other dogs.

I recently adopted a rescue puppy and as soon as I brought him home I contacted several places that care for puppies and walk/exercise dogs. Puppy Paws (Running Paws) got back to me the same day and set up an in-home meeting immediately. He came over and met my puppy and seemed to be genuinely interested in the what his needs were going to be as he grew. Of course, we went through the standard forms and dollars and cents stuff too, but he spent more time asking me questions that would help his team best care for my new puppy. He explained how they were able to tailor their service to my puppy's changing needs as he grew and with my preferences as his 'Daddy'. I have had a couple of negative situations where things haven't worked out to my satisfaction or a mistake has been made. I addressed it directly and it was always handled quickly and professionally. There is no run-around with these folks. I often call at the last minute to see if they can stop by to look in on my puppy and almost every time they seem to make it work. Most of all, my puppy gets to see the same person consistently and has developed a positive rapport with him. I do not trust easily - especially when it comes to my precious puppy. I do not hesitate to recommend Puppy Paws/Running Paws to anyone I talk to. In fact, I have already referred one person! Simply put...I love 'em! I love 'em! I love 'em!

Pros: Trustworthy, Responsive, Caring, Professional

Cons: More Expensive than Other Services, Very Busy - Hard to Get Scheduled In Sometimes

I have been a client of Running Paws for three years and could not be more pleased with their service. I would highly recommend Running Paws to any urban dog owner. My hyper pitbull is a calmer, happier dog as a result of this service. I have had a few different runners over the three years and all of them have been professional and more importantly, dog lovers. The managers are extremely responsive and accommodating to changes in your schedule. Thank you Seth and Josh. You guys really are life savers!

Let me jump on the bandwagon. I, like everyone else, felt guilty for leaving my dog alone all day and the dog walker just wasn't getting the job done in terms of keeping him fit and healthy. We were introduced to Running Paws through another client who was walking his dog and are happy he recommended them. My dog LOVES his daily run with Running Paws and now he gets to run with that dog! He would run three times a day if he could. He is definitely in better shape. If there is a downside it is that he now has more energy than ever before! Running seems to get him revved up for more. Fortunately, the runners high only lasts a few minutes, then he is ready for a good long nap. We took him to a park in Westport, CT one time where dogs are allowed to run freely off leash and he was in heaven. He had all of the other dogs chasing after him, running in circles and doubling back. They were tumbling over each other. The other dog owners wanted us to bring him back every day. Unfortunately, city life doesn't offer that freedom. I believe Running Paws is the next best thing. We are fortunate to have such a great group of people doing what we cannot do -- exercising our dog.

Pros: Good way to keep your dog in shape. Helps keep your dog from wanting to be naughty when you're gone!

Cons: None
