Veronica is really an expert !!! I just loved my hair!!!!

My hair is very difficult to color because it turns red very easily. I was looking for natural looking highlights, as if lightened by the sun, to brighten my face but not noticebly processed. Veronica was the greatest! She took her time to listen and talked out the process with me until we came to a full understanding and agreement of what would be done. The results are fabulous!!! I got it done 3 weeks ago and I am still enjoying immensely. The color came out exactly the way I wanted it. And no turning red like in most other salons. Veronica is really an expert and a true professional. Really sweet too!! I will follow her wherever she goes!!! :) I finally found my perfect colorist (and I have been searching for years)

Clean and cozy salon, good service, good products I thought. I didn't have an appointment and figured the wait would be long but I waited for no longer than 15-20 minutes, which was nice. Definitely an unexpected luck for a walk-in (I would know). I ended up with Veronica who did an excellent job with my hair. She's also very friendly and funny so it put me at ease. I didn't know what I wanted to do so she suggested we go with a warmer brown and low-lights. I've never done anything but color before so it was a stretch and I was a bit worried. Turned out perfect, I was very happy with the result. Guess next time I'll be sure to make an appointment with Veronica not to take chances!

Oh thank God for Veronica at Salon V! About a week ago I had a crazy moment and decided to color out-of-the-box.. not the smartest move. Lets just say my new blonde color came out ready for Halloween (eek!)Not to mention it was super light and ashy, my eye-brows are dark so one can imagine what I looked like. A coworker was nice enough to refer me to Veronica (she's her client as well) and I now can't be happier with my new hair!! Not only did she give me a very naturally-looking base but she also gave me highlights in this amazing blonde shade. I love it!! Next time I'm due for a roots fix I'm paging Dr. Veronica!

Traci is great

I highly recommend Traci - I have tried 5 salons now in Manhattan alone and Traci did a great job on the first visit. She listened to my concerns and knew exactly what I wanted. She is also very personable!

After 4 years I've finally found a colorist I love!

I've lived in NYC for the past four years and have had a heck of a time finding a colorist. I've had some awful experiences until now. Traci is fabulous and I'm really thankful I found her. (It was from citysearch reviews). I highly recommend her because she does exactly what I request, I enjoy chatting with her and I love the location of the salon. Though I live in the UES, it's fun to shop and eat in the area after my monthly appointments.

A colorist who revived my hair.. VERONICA!!!!

I had just moved to NYC several months ago, and being a professional it is extremely important to have my appearance be top notch. I wanted something new, yet I wanted to revive my damaged hair from a previous coloring. Not being familiar with the new city, I asked one of my clients (I work in a law firm) where she gets her hair done, since it always looks amazing. She recommended salon V, namely, a color specialist by the name of Veronica. I was pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere and welcome upon my arrival. Nevertheless, Veronica devoted a great amount of time consulting me on which color would look best on me. She is very professional, yet friendly. I was extatic after my hair was done. The color complimented my skin tone and my hair now looks healthy. I can honestly say that this was hands down the best color job I have ever had. I now found my new colorist and I highly suggest for anyone looking to get their "perfect color" to book an appointment with Veronica. I can't wait to come back for a touch-up!!

Finally, the perfect stylist!!!!!!

What an amazing stylist I found!!! Her name is Carolina and she is my forever stylist. After 49 years of disappointing stylists who never gave me a style I could maintain at home, I discovered someone who could. Plus she gave me the best highlights I'd ever had. Not only did my hair look good when I got home and styled it myself, she put me totally at ease the entire time I was there and listened, really listened to my fears about past experiences. Now THATS a plus b/c I always get so intimated by stylists and she just allowed me to reveal what my vision was and we actually discussed how to best accomodate my unruly, frizzy hair. I hate to use a hairblower and so she gave me a style that doesn't require me to do so. I was never able to just take a shower and take only a few minutes to style my hair but now this is exactly what I can do. A few twists with product and I can go out without spending 45 minutes blowing my hair. FREEDOM!!!!! Anyone wanting a compassionate and talented stylist MUST go see Carolina at Salon V.

WATCH OUT FOR VERONICA! I felt swindled.

WATCH OUT FOR VERONICA! I entered the salon requesting one type of service (stated to cost $85) and she did something completely different, without consulting me, and it ended up costing three times ($260) more than the process I actually requested. I didn't know what to do, they reluctantly negotiated down only $50 and acted as if it was a big favor. It was a mortifying; I don't appreciate being treated like that, no matter how good my hair looks. Oh and by the way, my best friend and my mom didn't even notice that my hair was different. I'll never go back.

Color to perfection!!!

"Veronica is hands down the best colorist I have ever had do my hair. I'm originally from Europe and I'm accustomed in getting done very unique work. Ever since moving to the states it has been extremely difficult for me to find a colorist who understands the true concept of perfection and unique coloring.
