I went to Dr. Alvarez on a recommendation from a friend, and I am so happy that I did. He is meticulous, very attentive, and explains everything in a way that you understand easily. There is virtually no pain thanks to the wonderful waterlase. He is definitely not an in and out dentist. You can tell that he enjoys what he does, and it makes a big difference. His staff is also very courteous and professional. All in all it is a pleasant experience, which seems like an oxymoron considering it is a dental visit, but it really is. Highly recommended. Might be the best in New York City. You will not be disappointed.
Pros: Virtually no pain, excellent service
Cons: I wish I had gone to him earlier
